Me and my family came down to the keys and this bar was right next to our resort so decided to go. The drinks are very good and the food was amazing. But everything is a bit pricey and the small chairs were placed at the height tops . But all jokes aside this was a cool little tiki bar

We really wanted to like this place as the grounds were very nice and the front desk staff was very friendly , unfortunately the room was not as expected. Small bathroom, dirty walls and light switches, sticky refrigerator handle and the floors felt like they needed to be cleaned. I had read reviews about the pools not being very clean and loud - this was true. Bike rentals are a joke, you’re supposed to check them out but the 2 times we tried to check them out we were told that people just take them and they don’t know who or when they will be back. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I booked two rooms at this resort but had to cancel one due to Covid. I was put through a traumatic experience with the reservation line and attempted to contact the resort. This was no easy feat as the recording that answered the phone continually circled around and was unable to speak with a human. Finally, I tried again today and was able to get a living person on the line. Her name is Corvina and she was able to take care of everything I needed to complete the second room confirmation. Corvina is the type of person that listens and understands the issues at hand. My hat is off to her. P.S. we haven't been there yet but my daughter and grandson will be there this coming week.

I thought the location and beach of this resort was wonderful and it seemed clearly better than several other hotels in the area that we visited for meals or boating trips. First, it had a real sandy beach - two in fact- rather than parking lots sprinkled with sand, which most of the other places had. Second, it was very nice for snorkeling off the beach and by nearby marinas- in particular the dock between this resort and its sister resort, Pelican Inn. My favorite activity was simply lounging at the beach and snorkeling off and on. You can see many snappers, puffer fish, sting rays, small barracuda, horseshoe crabs, as well as more colorful tropical fish off the dock (angelfish, damsels) as well as lobsters. Third, the beach also had kayaks and paddle boards for guests to use at no charge. The rooms were basic but very nice. We had a marina view including a patio off the room which was very relaxing to use during the occasional summer thunderstorm. Fourth, it had a convenient location next to two different marinas offering various fishing experiences, Eco tours, and jet skis. The restaurants onsite had wonderful food. Overall, it was the beach experience we were looking for. Fifth, the location was also convenient for surrounding restaurants that were excellent as well as for the Islander Girls snorkeling excursion boat that we used twice - just two miles South. We plan to return and next time will book a fly fishing charter in advance. There is also what looks to be a great dive shop with its own dive boat right at the adjacent marina which even offered onsite certification classes and trips- very tempting for a return visit.

We had a good time here, everything is close, Poolbar with good drinks, Restaurant with good Food and Pool is cool. Oceanfront Lanai is perfect! We will come again! We stay for 5 nights and there was no room service (no cleaning) but it is ok, they ask by Message if we need anything and we got new towels!

AWWW! I was so excited to check in to this beautiful property! I walked in to the cute little lobby a little after 3PM. I know that check in is at 4PM, so I was totally ok to wait. After about 40 minutes, I finally had my turn to check in. It was almost 4PM at this point, so I thought I would be able to check in to my room. NOPE! One of the front desk ladies yelled at this poor guest as she was just asking a question nicely. Then the other front desk girls decided to stop what they were doing and discuss amongst themselves. It was really just a sad situation. So unfortunate for all of these guest to have traveled so far to get here. I then decided to walk over to the raw bar and have a bite. A little after 5PM, I haven't heard anything about my room, so I walk over to the lobby and the crowd is huge! The same guests that were waiting with me were still there. There were so many people trying their best to be understanding, but the communication was so non existent. The manager was supposedly in a meeting too. I think you should leave your meeting if you have a lobby full of guest that can not get into their rooms. Just a simple, " I apologize and we are short staffed with housekeeping" etc. A customer service course is definitely needed for all that work on the property. I understand that service providers are hard to find, and good ones who care at that, but there has to be another way to run such a beautiful property or no one will return. I finally got into my room after 5:30PM. It is cute for sure! I just am so sad that my check in experience has set the tone for my stay. I wouldn't recommend staying here especially if you are traveling from afar, as your long travel day may quite possibly become a nightmare when you get here. Or the day of your check in, show up way after 4PM. I truly hope that they can figure it out! So Sad!!

Booked room for 22nd Anniversary. Stayed here previously and liked Oceanfront Lanai and location. More expensive than normal summer rate since COVID. $1700 for 2 night stay but we love the keys and everything is expensive now. The weekend we booked there was a Tropical Storm but didn’t cancel within 72 hours. We decided to make the best of it as we live in Florida and Tropical Storms here are No worst than summer showers. We drove down Friday and it was raining but EVERY Restaurant / Bar / Hotel was open along the way. We made a few stops and enjoyed lunch on covered deck at Hog Heaven. When we arrived at Postcard Inn everything was closed except Chao Hound. Raw Bar closed. Tiki Bar Closed. Onsite Store Closed. We checked into room and then went to bar at Chao Hound for a drink. Went back to room to get ready for dinner and phone was not working. Bathroom looked dirty and huge puddle in bathroom floor. We had to use bath towels to clean up so we didn’t have any left. Tried calling front desk from cell phone to get more towels. No answer. Walked through rain to front desk to try and get get towels and tell them about phone. Was told they would send someone. Nobody ever came. Used hand towel to try and dry off and had wonderful dinner at Ziggy and Mad Dogs. Literally EVERYTHING in town was OPEN EXCEPT at Postcard Inn. Went back to room. Wanted to order some drinks room service but of course phone still didn’t work. Nobody again answered when we tried calling from cell to front desk to try and get room service. Drove out to The Trading Post in town to get Champagne. Came back and enjoyed eachothers company. Following morning we slept in and woke up being barricaded in room with sandbags. Kept trying but couldn’t push door open. Still no working phone. Called front desk from cell to see if someone could remove sandbags. No answer. Finally was able to keep pushing on door and move sandbags enough to squeeze out. Nothing on resort open again. Light rain showers that morning. Drove out to Mangrove Mikes for Breakfast. Drove through Cheeca and Islander and resorts and they were open business as usual. Returned back to resort around 2:00pm Saturday hoping to enjoy pool or beach. Everything still locked up and closed. Room smelled horrible because mini fridge not working either. Still NO Towels. No working phone. Walked to front desk again was told no housekeeping or maintenance on weekends. Clearly No staff anywhere. Bikes locked up. No pools towels. Chairs and everything stacked up. No manager to be seen anywhere. Late in day they finally opened tiki bar but no where to sit because tables and everything locked away. Insulting they charged 2x normal and no staff, services or amenities Fri or Sat. This was NOT caused by weather but poor Mgmt as EVERYWHERE else in town was open. Nobody at resort bothered to try and help. If they are unable to provide adequate services or staff they should close or offer guests to return on another weekend. Never got towels, working phone or mini fridge entire stay. These are just basic necessities. No access to bikes, canoes pool towels or even bath towels.

OVERPRICED! while this property has promise, it is not a luxury property and the price is outrageous for what you are getting. housekeeping isn't daily, so expect the towels to pile up and sand on the floor - I personally don't want to spend $700per night and have to clean my own room. I would not stay here again - you can always visit the Tiki Bar and the Raw bar if you stay somewhere else.

We had to change our family vacation to the Yukon, due to a fire at the lodge. This trip was planned last minute and did not disappoint. The reason I chose this resort is because of my childhood memories. My dad was head of security at Holiday Isle, now known as Post Card Inn. I lived on property for a little while and was so excited to return. Fishing was a priority for our family and we were very satisfied with our off shore experience on Shake-n-Bait, with captain Jack. The resort was easy to navigate, food was amazing, grounds were well kept, room location was the best and the prices were reasonable for a holiday weekend, and the beds were very comfortable. The activity staff, at the hut, were amazing and friendly. We are looking forward to scheduling another vacation at this resort.

If you are considering Islamorada, this is a fantastic resort! It is a stunning property with lots to do or just lay back – explore it! The staff, especially Pierre, were amazing. Yoga on the beach was wonderful! If you expect bed turndowns every day, this is not your place. Housekeeping is in about every 2-3 days to replenish/refresh. But there is the perfect text to your phone daily- “what can we do for you?” I need 4 K-cups for coffee, new towels and it was left at our room door. A fantastic stay! If you can, choose the penthouse! So worth it for the expansive outdoor space and the views.

A super cute tiki bar! We stopped at this place on our drive up from the Keys while my friend was visiting for some drinks and dinner. It's situated next to a hotel, so you'll find guests who are on vacation and in a really happy mood. We enjoyed talking with the couple next to us at the bar! Fun night.

WORST SERVICE!! STAY AWAY ! My family and I are on vacation and we're looking for an oceanfront restaurant as you would when you're traveling the keys . We sat up stairs for a cool view not knowing the bartender was the absolute WORSE !!! Heavy set black lady with glasses was awful with the WORSE attitude . She never greeted us or gave us menus , kept complaining she was busy every time we got up to order anything . She was EATING behind the bar which was disgusting !!!! Never washed her hands once before making drinks. Her underwear was sticking out the entire time . My boyfriend got so grossed out he went to the downstairs tiki bar to order drinks ! There were ten people up there and she kept saying there was a shift change which never happened . When our food came out she yelled for us to come grab the dishes mind you she could of walked them over . We ordered 200 worth of food . Unbelievable service ! HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN ?????? DO NOT EAT HERE I am so disgusted I will be calling the manager tomorrow. That lady needs to get FIRED !

The view was amazing. The views were relaxing and they gave tons of chairs and sitting arrangements. Food was ok. Drinks were good. But the location was fabulous

Honestly this place is beautiful. Remodel looks absolutely amazing. Such a shame such a beautiful place is ruined by such a horrible bartender. The blonde bartender Charlene was honestly the worst example of hospitality I've ever seen in my 15 years working in the industry. No greeting, stank attitude, every guest seem to be an inconvenience to her. I spent my childhood years coming to this tiki bar and haven't been here in years. After this experience, it will be a while before I return. This bartender needs to go, she's causing you to loose business for sure.
