Whale Harbor Seafood Buffet

This place was great until…it just couldn’t. Had to raise the price because crab legs were just getting out of hand. The people balked.They say they are not sure what they are going to do but it aint happening soon.

Can't wait for it to reopen

The food was horrible

A girlfriend with some adventurous skills. She surprised me with a spontaneous Key West getaway, despite the threat of a storm brewing in the ocean! But she's got some fishing skills - she reeled me in. And I'm glad I took the chance. No regrets - it was an unforgettable weekend! 🏖️

Drove all the way from Miami to come have dinner with my family to Whale Harbour after going online and confirming that the restaurant was indeed OPEN according to Google. When we arrived the restaurant is CLOSED for renovation. A lot of people actually go online to check reviews etc and I believe they should at least announce that they are CLOSED.

Warning, they are closed for renovations. We tried to go today, was really looking forward to it and found a notice posted on the door.

First time coming here. It was yummy. The octopus salad was great. Never had octopus before. Everything i had was very tasteful. Found out that I like mussels, clams and octopus.

I really don't like leaving this bad review I really tried many of the different foods here and I have to be honest it was not very good.
The paella was not even close to a real paella . The fish choices where not fresh and tasteless. The cold shrimp two out of three where no deveined. The oysters look like they were chewed on before serving.
The flan desert terrible tasted like corn starch. The beef was completely raw see photos.
This is in my opinion not even close to what this place use to be. It's basically a cheap Chinese buffet for a high price.
But at least at a Chinese buffet you get sushi and more options and hibachi for around $20 bucks.
This is just a tourist trap.

The establishment's pricing seems a bit high when considering the variety of food offered. One might find a more upscale dining experience with superior food quality at a lower cost elsewhere.

Very poor for the price you pay the variety of seafood is the worst and if you want crab legs you have to pay more and they have the sweets and the crab legs and oysters behind the counter limited is a robbery for the price.
