These people don’t close at 9 pm they close at 8 I’ve headed down here 2 times from Miami and had to end up eating at different restaurants. They simply don’t care and just tell you they are closed. I wish they would fix this cause I really like their food.

I visited Whale Harbor Buffet on September 20, 2025, with my wife, looking forward to an enjoyable evening and a great seafood experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be extremely disappointing from start to finish.

The food quality was very poor — nothing we tried tasted fresh or well-prepared. I was also surprised to learn that crab legs came at an extra charge, and each portion required an additional payment, which was not clearly communicated. Many food items listed on the menu were unavailable by 6:00 PM, which is unacceptable for a dinner service.

The pasta station was unstaffed, several trays were empty, and the chocolate ice cream had run out entirely. I ordered a glass of wine and never saw the server again. No water was ever brought to our table, and overall, the service was inattentive and disorganized.

When I raised these concerns with the manager, Mike, his response was to offer one free buffet. I explained that I wasn’t looking for a discount — I was hoping for accountability and a sincere effort to address the serious issues we experienced. It’s clear that both the kitchen and the front-of-house staff are lacking proper management and oversight.

This visit left a very negative impression. The quality of the food, the poor service, and the lack of care from management suggest that major improvements are needed. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both the dining experience and staff training.

I wouldn't recommend eating here! It would be seafood buffet not meat buffet it has more meat than 1 choice of seafood plus the server is very rude and always giving an attitude.

This place used to be all you can eat crabs and now for additional $5 you get two claws. A total of $45 just for food per person. I’ve never felt more ripped off. When I used to love coming to this place as a kid.

Thank goodness we paid the extra $ for the crab legs! They were the only good thing on the buffet! Food was cold, hard and tasteless. I know it’s off season, but come on…..

Irene was our server and did a fabulous job! I'm not sure why people are leaving mixed reviews. My brother and I went and thought it was amazing. The price is definitely worth it and the food was great. You can't get oysters on the half shell. Without spending a ton of money. So to have Oysters on the bar was really nice. There was a huge selection. The octopus salad was great. Everything was cooked well and fresh. I highly recommend it.

The entire reason for this place to exist was all you can eat snow crab had been discontinued. Now this is just an overpriced all you can eat cafeteria food. Enjoy, I guess.

We made a reservation for 7:00 p.m., and had an hour drive up.and at 7:01 they canceled our reservation which we thought was unusual. It was a Wednesday night and the parking lot was empty. We message back we were in the parking lot and will be inside in less than 2 minutes. The food quality what's poor and what tasted good was cold.We can't understand all the hype of everybody saying how great it was because we just don't feel the same.
