Decent spot, got rid of the game room area and feels cramped every time now. To pay retail rent rate to keep brewing on site doesn’t make a lot of financial sense. Brew off site, have more room for customers, better bar, better service and better vibes !
Upon entering Engine 15, we could feel a very friendly local atmosphere within. It was lunch hour and there were some guests sitting on the bar seats, chatting, having a drink and catching the local sport action. We were told by a staff over the counter that we could sit anywhere. She came by with the menu and we were told that we can make the orders at the counter once we’re ready. This is our favorite brewery in Jax. They have around 30 taps, tons of options, whether IPA or dark or European, and they curate guest taps really well. Lots of TVs make this a favorite spot to watch the Jags, too. Bartenders are always friendly, kids are well tolerated, and the food is decent (though with Mojo and Line Wolf in spitting distance, it’s a high bar)! They have super fun parties too!
