The rating is truly 3.5 at this point; I need to go again to make sure though. I was highly disappointed in the turkey pesto sandwich. It was sweet, which I wasn’t expecting. I also had the guava cake, which was just ok. The true star was the chicken empanada!! I will definitely go back for that, but it’ll have to be to the one in St. Augustine. Hopefully, it won’t disappoint. I also felt like it was expensive. I’ve had cheaper meals with way more food at sit-down restaurants.

Went here for lunch with my girlfriend and we were stargazed on how reciprocal this Cuban food relates to what we had in Miami. The servers are all friendly and operated on such a fast pace. I recommend the steak sandwich and Tostones! The decor and murals on the wall make a great ambience. The location off Baymeadows is just as great! I stop there for coffee/lunch during the day. Best Cuban food in Jax!

Unfortunately my pictures lacked this time- will add more next time. Went on a Friday night for take out- pretty empty with only one table inside. Welcomed immediately and staff were able to make some good recommendations. Smaller inside, but ample table room and also outside seating is offered. Sandwiches average $13, but are large- sharing size. Cuban- Pretty good, nice amount of protein. Pan con bistec- steak, good flavor.
