Jeff and Jessie have kept the robust menu and enhanced the quality and freshness with more locally based suppliers. My favorite so far is the Hot Italian Sausage. “So let me tell you. I love their sushi. Good food. Great price. Always good service. Now a beef. I used to eat there twice a month. They give you fried Oreo for desert. Complements of the house. But when I order pick up guess what. They wanted to charge $6 for something they give me free. Used to be a regular and hate to even say something negative but that’s just not right.“

“I had family in the emergency room and we were waiting for them and while we did we decided to go into zest for something to eat. I had the roasted vegetable flatbread and it was amazing! They are artistically decorated the flatbread with a mix of vegetables, basil pesto and a balsamic reduction. It hit the spot and was great. Comfort food and all the staff were super friendly and fun. I even saw one dancing a little bit to the music that was in the cafe. They will feed you and cheer you up. And just outside is the wonderful Mayo atrium where you can wait where it is peaceful and you can watch the waterfall outside the window.“

Without tip it was just under $12 for the whole pizza, and I added 3 cheeses & 5 different meats. $12 for an entire pizza with that many meats and additional cheese is unheard of. Also, It was the best pizza I have ever had. absolutely PHENOMENAL! They were kind, the atmosphere was lively, welcoming, and clean!“

“This location has THE best customer service. They delivered the food to table, one drink had some leak on lid and the associate took it back to clean it off!! Then My Dr. Pepper tasted watered down i was just letting them know, so they knew. an associate gave me a different drink but one of the other ones went in the back and actually fixed the machine. “Until the last couple visits, things were fine. I don't know if it's new management or what, but sandwiches were horrible. Not even close to the items that were supposed to be on the sandwiches, no cheese, and very little meat. Big change from the way they used to be. This is for the location on Beville Road in Daytona Beach.“

“Larry's made the mistake of shrinking the size of their sandwiches by trying to be sneaky and decreasing the width of their bread, as if we would not notice. They didn't want to follow Firehouse in just raising the prices dramatically, which most customers would prefer over shrinkflation. Sad, because they were our go-to for subs, especially with the military discount. They will probably try to deny it, but we were regulars for years and know the difference. We now call them pencil sandwiches. Sad.“

There was a waitress by the name Cathy. She was the sweetest lady. I have a hard time finding anything to drink. I had radiation and it makes my mouth dry and taste off. This sweet lady went above and beyond trying to help me. She had such compassion. I love her in Christ.
The gentleman waiter was very nice as well. I would like to say thank you so much. I pray for her and her niece Renee.“
