“This place offers the ultimate Cuban experience in Jax! ?The atmosphere is lively, the decor is beautiful, and the customer service is top-notch. The food exceeded all my expectations. The beef and guava empanadas were a delightful way to start the meal—crispy pastry filled with deliciousness. The chicken was tender and flavorful, falling off the bone and finger-lickin' good! The rice, plantains, yucca, and beans were perfect sides for the picadillo and lechon asado (loved the onion topping!). The desserts, knowing they're made in-house every morning, made them even more special. Everything surpassed my expectations.Thank you for providing an authentic Cuban experience!?“
“My wife and I were in the area and decided to have a late lunch here. I ordered the 12” The Bomb combo. Grilled Sirloin steak, grilled peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, provolone with a strip of bacon. You can get The Bomb with chicken too. Bread was soft. Fries were plentiful. Friendly service.“
“The rating is truly 3.5 at this point; I need to go again to make sure though. I was highly disappointed in the turkey pesto sandwich. It was sweet, which I wasn’t expecting. I also had the guava cake, which was just ok. The true star was the chicken empanada!! I will definitely go back for that, but it’ll have to be to the one in St. Augustine. Hopefully, it won’t disappoint. I also felt like it was expensive. I’ve had cheaper meals with way more food at sit-down restaurants.“
