“My boyfriend took me to Mi Apa today after a long day of work. Both of us had not eaten today so we were both cranky. Thankfully our awesome server Sergio was the cure to our hangriness! He was quick and on top of everything. I got the Miami sandwich and my boyfriend got this bowl with beef, rice and plantains. We sat outside on the patio and despite that we never felt ignored by Sergio. Great service, food and ambiance. Will definitely be coming again!“
“Edit: Flacos has significantly improved their wait time issue. No more super long waits!Flacos has awesome food but the wait is always awful, any day, any time. I went in the middle of the day, no one else there, it took like 20 minutes to make my food. Tonight, Tuesday night, I ordered ahead, and have waited an extra 30 minutes past the pickup time. “I went there quite some time ago, but wanted to give credit where credit is due. I can't wait to check out their new vibe on 'Cuban Corner' in Gainesville.I went there specifically for the Cuban sandwich, as I do Cubano reviews on YouTube (goofy, I know, but I love these things!). This, IMO, is the top ranked Cubano in the Gainesville area, or maybe even this north/central Florida region. Sandwich was fantastic. Pork was delicious, bread was nice and thin with a solid press (key!). They got this Cubano thing down.
