“1928 Bistro's coffee cart was a huge hit at our wedding! Not only did it provide a much-needed caffeine boost for our guests, but it also added a charming and unique touch to our reception. The coffee was expertly brewed and absolutely delicious, and the baristas were friendly and accommodating. The cart itself was beautifully decorated and fit perfectly with our wedding aesthetic. Our guests loved being able to customize their coffee orders with a variety of syrups and toppings. Having the 1928 Bistro coffee cart at our wedding was a wonderful experience, and we're so grateful for their exceptional service and delicious coffee!“
“Very nice and great customer service! We walked in right at closing (we didn't realize until after we left). The lady gave us a menu and was open to any questions. I noticed her interactions with customers before me were as if they were family or a friend. The place is clean, welcoming, and has a courtyard out back. I haven't even tried my to go empanada, but my sister is devouring hers. I can't wait to come back.“

“This was our first experience at Mambos and it was so good! We started with the Mambo platter which was fantastic, especially the empanadas! I had the Cuban sandwich and my husband chose the Mambo steak sandwich. Make sure to order the sweet plantains, a dessert in and of itself! Cafe con leche so delicious! Our waitress was very sweet. My only problem with the restaurant is that there isn’t one in Port Orange where I live. Next time I’m at Mayo, I’ll stop in again!“
“This place was amazing. They offer catering and their cafe con leche is PERFECTION! We ordered a mini Cuban (which was not mini to our standards). Was wonderful. Will definitely be back soon!We love that they have indoor and outdoor seating options, an extensive menu and wonderful customer service.“
“Our family went to Mambos Express on San Jose last night for dinner. WOW! We haven't been there in a while; it did not disappoint! For appetizers we had their Mambos samplers and a tostones rellenos, what a fresh delicious sampling of Cuban food. For meals we had vaca frita, masitas de puerco and fricasse de puerco ~ all with white rice, black beans, maduros and specially requested yuca con mojo de ajo. The food was served hot, fresh and with the best Cuban flavors. We were enjoying so much we forgot to snap pictures BUT we saved room for dessert and can share pics of those. The flan and quatro leches cake was superb. Of course, we completed our meal with the best cafecito Cubano. The service was pleasant and attentive, the restaurant is clean and attractive. We took pasteles home to enjoy for breakfast, so we started our day with the most incredible pasteles de guayaba y queso we've had outside of Miami. As good as if not better than the ones south! If you are looking for freshly prepared wonderfully seasoned Cuban food accompanied by friendly service this is the place to go. We are looking forward to the outside seating area they are creating for when the weather is nice. To our Fabuloso Fabrizio ~ gracias por todo y de todos!“
“Just left here after ordering for the first time. The service was great..the two young ladies behind the counter were so sweet...the place was nice and clean. The pizza was really good too..lots of cheese :) Letting my office know about you guys. I will be back for sure“
“My wife and I were in the area and decided to have a late lunch here. I ordered the 12” The Bomb combo. Grilled Sirloin steak, grilled peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, provolone with a strip of bacon. You can get The Bomb with chicken too. Bread was soft. Fries were plentiful. Friendly service.“
“This place is absolutely amazing!!! I've lived over here for 2 years and this is this first time I've seen but I promise I'll definitely be back!! The food ( tacos supreme and quesadilla supreme) was delicious ? We brought it home and if I can keep my kid away from it I'll have quesadilla for lunch tomorrow because there was so much of it. We also got 2 Jarritos and a coke“
“The food is excellent! There is no one there that speaks English. So, I bring my boyfriend with me, because he speaks Spanish. Atmosphere is bland and small, but I don’t really mind. I love small businesses, Mom and Pop style. I highly recommend you try the food. Most people call ahead & take out. I have to go in, because I like my food hot. I also like to see the menu as well. I try to get something different every time I go there. I believe they originally started out as a food truck on Rogero Road.“
“The restaurant was clean and open to the club next door, Cuba Libre?? Roast Pork was very good, as were the plantains and black beans. The ham croquettes were a little mushy, but had a tasty dipping sauce. The chicken empanada was good, pico was really good. The service was prompt, but the kitchen was a little slow especially considering I was the only person there.“
“This was my first time here. The staff was very welcoming. We had a lot of questions and they were very helpful. Nice relaxed atmosphere for lunch. I ordered the seafood mofongo, and my niece had the picadillo and both were really delicious. My mofongo was very flavorful and full of seafood. The portions are huge.Don't forget to donate a couple of bucks to feed the cute kitties outside.“
“We been thinking of trying this restaurant before we head back back to our snowy home. Sat down on the dog friendly patio with Blanding Ave right in front of us. Considering we're in the city, no prob. Hector the waiter was there almost instantly. He gave us menus and got our drink orders. Back with the drinks quite quickly. Ordered and once again, bringing the food out fairly quick. I appreciate that as I don't like sitting and waiting for food. Food came out hot, temp wise. We shared the shrimp with rice soup. Nice taste, not too fishy. Shrimp was plentiful. Our 2nd dish was the stewed chicken . Came with rice, I ordered yellow and white rice came out and black beans (not much flavor at all). Chicken was tender and we'll cooked. It did lack flavor. More like a chicken in it's own juices rather than a stewed chicken. Overall the dinner and time spent was good.“
“Best Cuban bakery in town! I am so happy I found a place to buy croquettas and pan Cubano. Best authentic flavor. I'm upset it took me this long to find them. Gracias por las croquetas y el pan delicioso! Sigan adelante!!! -Cubana de Miami.“
“High quality food from friendly people. The menu has Cuban food on one side and American food on the other. Everything is good. The tamales and Cuban coffee got me hooked. The selection of hot sauces improves the experience even more. Cash discount.“
