Gusto A Taste Of Rome

This was our second time in, the first time was a table for 12 for a birthday party the gratuity was already added. Which I did not see so for a $69 bill it was 73.00 if I paid debit which I added the gratuity so I ended up paying a 25.00 gratuity for a $69 bill.
Tonight we had reservations it was our anniversary I ended up paying $10.25 for my happy hour drink of a dollars that should have been $7. The chicken Parmesan we were charged an additional $7.25 for the chicken. I felt ripped off after the first visit but now I know their nickel and dime.

Just not impressed at all, by the restaurant and the food. Came with family for dinner, had carbonara and it felt like gave noodles in a pool of bacon grease. The sauce was not made correctly. Went to talking tacos immediately after. Not sure if I'd bother to come back. The server wasn't bad though.

Gusto is where I go for the best pizza in town. Most people come for pasta and other Italian dishes which are also amazing, but the pizza is better than anything else I have tried. I also enjoy the almond tiramisu dessert. The owners always come by and say hello which is rare in most restaurants.

This is our favourite date night spot. Highly recommend. Especially on Sundays with their special.

I love veal franchise/ francese. Veal is a bit chewy and must be tenderized and marinated properly. It must be cooked with real lemon juice and fresh garlic. Gusto is a good restaurant, but sometimes the veal is a bit chewy and tangy, like bottled lemon juice, also a bit bland. Also, Gusto is not so accommodating to the customer in requests or slight variations to a dish.I will probably order a different entree next time.

Came in tonight and Anthony took care of us. Absolutely incredible atmosphere (like beautifully cool AC thank god, nice chill
music, and ambient lighting), FANTASTIC food, and some of if not the best service I’ve ever had by the amazing Anthony. He knew every dish on the menu, gave us great recs, helped us decide between dishes, and was attentive without being too attentive. Can’t wait to come back.

True Italian experience from former NJ/NYC gal. Beautiful interior & decor with excellent menu, Caesar salad, and veal dishes. Cozy mirrored bar, private booths. Parties and dance with several nightly dance bands. NY pizza as well. Best spaghetti carbonara.....

Good variety on the menu. Fresh salads and from-scratch sauces. Olive oil with kalamata olives, capers and herbs on top of fresh bread, baked in-house, might have been my favorite item. Great service and atmosphere. A small kids menu for picky eaters. Perfectly cooked calamari. One of the best meals I’ve had lately. Will definitely eat here next time I’m in the area. Come nicely dressed, or you may feel out of place.
