Jalapeño Express is a small food truck parked in a dental office lot, with a few casual tables nearby and a speaker strapped to the truck for ambiance. It's a one-person operation, so service can be a bit slow, but the food feels authentically made with care.

Absolutely delicious! I was at the beach looking for a nearby place and found these guys on Google. Placed an order online through grubhub here on the app. When I went to pick it up they were not st this 3rd St address as stated. Called them, they said they are at 14006 Beach Blvd. Ok, that was 13 min away but whatever. When I went to pick it up they had no record of my order. Said they don’t use grubhub. I finally had the opportunity to try Jalapeño Express as I often pass by on my way to the gym. I wish I stopped by sooner. The owners are very nice and helpful with recommendations as it was my first time. I tried the steak azada, shrimp, pastor (marinated pork), and chicken tacos. All were muy delicioso! I especially liked the shrimp, pastor and chicken. I can't wait to try more... the birria, barbacoa and shrimp bowl next. I believe they will be adding chicken on its own...
