Refinery continues to amaze me. Ive been here 4+ times and found new things on the menu each time. The appetizer and entres have never ceased to amaze me. The dinning room is perfect for dinner, with a post dinner drink in the ocean breeze downstairs. This place doesn't miss.

Claire gave the best service we have had in years at the beach. The Seabass was out of this world and a must try.!!Vegetarian options: Vegan Scallops
The place is good, with a great ocean view, the service is outstanding, the food was disappointing, poor presentation, the portions sizes were small and low quality. By the other hand the dessert was great.

This was our second visit to Refinery Jax Beach. The food was very good. The service was not as good as our first visit. We had a waiter, but he seemed very, very busy. Additionally there were 2 other waitstaff who were helping out , but they were not really checking to see if we had everything we needed. I needed a serrated knife, and so did my friend. We waited for about 5 minutes to get someone's attention, meanwhile our food was cooling down. No one ever asked us if we wanted bread service. We did.
Waiter came around maybe 3 times the whole meal, once for the order, second to deliver the food, and third for the check. Seemed like they didn't have near enough staff or something. Both of our food was cold, so I can't really judge the taste. Other than the cool indoor bar and band, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a minute.

Always a nice time. The fancy casual dress code should be more mentioned or even called out. Party of 8 all 4 men in t shirts while the women wore dresses or skirt,blouses. Several other tables of people in flipflops and beach shorts with t shirts.

Food was ok but not great. Service was friendly. We sat outside so the ambience was great. But the chairs at the high tops have got to go! Very uncomfortable because the foot rests are too low!
Overall fair for the price your paying. Very overrated in my opinion. Food is good but not outstanding. The portions are small to the point of ridiculous. Ordered a bruschetta for starter that came with 2 very small and thin pieces of baguette.. that was it. Asked for a little bit more bread and they said they had the ‘bread service' available on the menu. Just ridiculous; felt “nickeld and dimed” for very common food: no value here. Wine list is poor and that was a red flag to me from the beginning. Location is a plus due to view; and that's about it. Plenty of other nice places to spend money at..

This was our first experience here. We sat in the Lounge and had 6 people for dinner. The bartender was our waiter and was very nice. We ordered drinks and appetizers and then our meals. While we were waiting on our meals, the hostess came and asked us to pay a $10 cover fee because the band was about to start playing. We thought it was ridiculous they asked us to do so given the money we had already spent in food and drinks and were only waiting on our entrees to eat and then leave. We were not able to move because they were full. But afterwards we found about 4 tables that would have accommodated us. The music started and was so loud we could talk converse over dinner. In regards to the food, the fish and chips was one piece of over cooked fish, the chicken sandwich was also over cooked. The pretzel appetizer was good as well as the hushpuppies. The upstairs dining looked like a nice area but we didn't experience that area.
For our date night we wanted to try something a little different. We saw this place had 1,000pt specials as well. This restaurant is really 3 in one with an outdoor bar, right on the beach. It was a little rainy but the 2nd floor view was amazing. Our servers were professional and friendly. The packed house was having a great time, talking and enjoying themselves. We ordered the crab cake appetizer which was small but didn't need to be any larger. It was satisfying. I ordered diver scallops and my bf got the hangar steak. Both our entrees were cooked perfectly and we cleaned our plates!

The food was amazing in presentation and was absolutely delicious. Desert was also incredible. Wait time was a little longer than desired, but overall, this place is fantastic. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Outside seating with view of ocean and Jax pier was beautiful.
Was celebrating a birthday and our server Chad was amazing!! He was very attentive to our table and recommended great pairings. He also brought out a cake for the birthday boy and joined us in singing happy birthday!! 10/10 recommend the Refinery and Chad!!
