Found this place on a whim. The line was well down the ramp but it moved quickly. We ended up getting a sweet spot on the water to eat and the food came out really fast. It was delicious. I ordered the shrimp poboy with fries and hush puppies. Hush puppies were a little dark but tasted good. Shrimp was really big and cooked to perfection. We had an amazing experience here. The ambiance of this place was awesome as well. Highly recommended.

Love this place. Always fresh fish and the atmosphere is relaxed. You order your meal, then sit yourselves outside on the waters edge. Your food is brought out to. It can get quite busy, so we go earlier than normal dinner time.

We went to this place for hubby's birthday based on the high star rating and that he wanted seafood. I got the fish tacos and the tomato and cucumber salad. The fish was ok but not great. They serve it with corn tortillas, which were heated but got cold really quickly. The tomato/cucumber salad came in a plastic bowl with a lid and had probably been in the fridge for a couple of days. It was not particularly good.Hubby got a fried fish and stuffed crab combo, which came with a side of fries and coffee slaw. He said the fries were not very good (most likely frozen fries like you buy at the store) and only ate a few of them.Others in the party didn't comment on their food other than to say it was not really what they expected based on the star ratings in the reviews. The prices were as expected for seafood. The food is ordered at the counter, and they have a food runner bring it to your table. The line to order moved fairly quickly, and the food was brought out reasonably quickly. You pick up your own drinks from the drink server at the next counter. Refills were free, but you had to go back to the drink counter to fetch them yourself. The place was noisy but not horribly so. There was indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating was full, so we sat inside. It was kind of warm inside, but eventually cooled down some (or maybe I just got accustomed to it). Overall, the atmosphere was what is typical of a Florida style seafood place on the water. We probably won't go back here.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair ramp leading in.

A Pleasant Surprise by the WaterfrontOur first visit to Dockside Seafood Restaurant left us pleasantly surprised! Despite the long line upon arrival, the wait moved swiftly. We appreciated the menu outside, which allowed us to decide on our order in advance. Once at the register, the staff efficiently took our order, and we easily found seating. Despite the crowd, ample seating was available, with options to dine inside, on the porch, or the dock—all offering equally enjoyable views. Our food arrived promptly, prepared with fresh ingredients and seasoned to perfection. Each dish was served piping hot and in generous portions, satisfying our appetites completely. The overall experience was delightful; the service was attentive, and the food exceeded our expectations. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Great spot for fried seafood. Avoid the tacos. The Po Boy also was not very good - mushy bread and mushy seafood with a bland sauce. Stick to the fryer and everything will come up Milhouse.

Food:I ordered the grilled shrimp taco meal. My son ordered a fried shrimp basket. Let's just say his basket appeared to have "fresh local" shrimp. My meal looked like that bagged shrimp that Walmart carries. Todays adjective is "Flavorless" This is not a deal breaker for me. I just won't order that again.Service:The only other mention I have is they had only 2 guys working the cooking stations. Service was a bit slow this go around.

Went to Dockside tonight for the first time. The food was fabulous. Found an outside table (with slightly padded chairs) looking south. Watched the boats and enjoyed the breeze. It was a birthday dinner and we left with a full box of shrimp, fries and hush puppies for tomorrow. Great time. Glad I decided to try it.
