My husband and I were over the moon about our experience at The GOAT. The flavors and quality of the food couldn’t be beat. The lavender honey dressing on the salad with goat cheese was a beautiful way to begin the meal. We also tried the burratta along with the stuffed dates and were not disappointed. Finally, I can’t say enough about the short ribs. Best I have ever had and the gravy and mushrooms were quite the addition to a phenomenal piece of meat. Our server was a gem and the owner was so personable. We will be returning for sure and recommending this place to our friends.

This place was alright. The food was good but underwelleming for the insane price of 159 we spilt rack of lambs grouper and chicken tenders. Now that sounds like a lot but for the small amount of food not the greatest price. Yes my name is actually bread

Decided to check this place out on a Sunday around 3. Tons of space to sit at the tables and bar (would be a great place for groups). Happy hour was ongoing, from 2-5 on Sundays. Food came out at different times but everything was piping hot and tasted delish. Service was stellar! ?

Seriously some of the best food I’ve had in Jax and I saw that as a local. Best short rib I’ve ever had. The sauce paired with it was straight up perfection. The goat cheese croquettes were also like the best mozzarella cheese sticks ever and it was paired with a guava sauce. Can’t wait to come back.

Every meal is excellent at The GOAT. We love the creative arancini they offer. We decided to try the Chicken Thighs this time and were not disappointed. Shawn's bourbon blends are amazing and the espresso martini is the best! Please bring cake the olive cake!

We came out to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Wasn’t sure about some of the food selections/pairing but Caitlin made it easy and everything she suggested was on point. They were so kind to us after I accidentally dropped my wine and ensures we had a great time for our night. Everything was on the up and up from there. The amazing food preparation and presentation was so pleasing to the eyes but even more satisfying when you devour your meal! Delicious!
I can not recommend this place. The food was cold and overpriced. They were 30 minutes late on the rest of my order. I won't be back there.

The food is delicious, but portion sizes small. We needed to order many many dishes for our group, making it quite expensive. We've been to many tapas restaurants & love them. This is the most expensive. Maybe prices have gone up , but we recently went to a lovely tapas restaurant in Charlottesville, Va, amazing, and the difference in portion/price is big. Too expensive!

Good luck finding parking. Once we found one, we were rewarded with a lovely place. It was moderately busy, and the wait staff was stressed. Our food took quite some time to reach us. It was good. Not great, but just good. Our waitress was delightful and quite helpful, as was the hostess. Pricing was par with the other beach restaurants, but the portions were slightly larger here. We will come here again. I recommend this establishment.

We really like tapas and give this place another chance every year or so, and every time we remember why we didn’t want to go back. It’s a shame, but all of the food and drinks are ok at best and taste a little weird. Way too expensive for unimpressive food. The service is friendly, but they’re understaffed.
