Decided to check this place out on a Sunday around 3. Tons of space to sit at the tables and bar (would be a great place for groups). Happy hour was ongoing, from 2-5 on Sundays. Food came out at different times but everything was piping hot and tasted delish. Service was stellar! ?
Seriously some of the best food I’ve had in Jax and I saw that as a local. Best short rib I’ve ever had. The sauce paired with it was straight up perfection. The goat cheese croquettes were also like the best mozzarella cheese sticks ever and it was paired with a guava sauce. Can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I were over the moon about our experience at The GOAT. The flavors and quality of the food couldn’t be beat. The lavender honey dressing on the salad with goat cheese was a beautiful way to begin the meal. We also tried the burratta along with the stuffed dates and were not disappointed.
