We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks ordered and that was after I requested a water be brought. Then it took another 10 minutes for her to actually take our drink order after my husband asked her if we could get regular drinks ordered as well. We had a party of ten so maybe the server's figured they didn't have to take much care of us since they were adding gratuity anyway. The hibachi chef was entertaining. Which is one of the key points for going to a hibachi steak house but the food lacked flavor, was over cooked and the salad was literally a few pieces of iceberg lettuce with watery dressing with some grated ginger. I wouldn't go again.

If you’re looking for the world’s most thrilling demonstration of a person successfully standing near a grill, congratulations. You’ve found it.

I took my niece to Uni Hibachi Steak House for her birthday because she’d never experienced hibachi before. I was excited to introduce her to the flying shrimp, the onion volcano, the spatula tricks, the jokes, the fire, the excitement, and all the things that make hibachi more than just dinner.

Based on the prices, I assumed we were about to witness the Super Bowl of hibachi.

Instead, we got what felt like a mandatory workplace training video.

The chef approached the grill with all the enthusiasm of someone opening their email on a Monday morning.

No tricks.

No energy.

No entertainment.

At one point my niece sat up in anticipation because the chef picked up a spatula. We thought the show was about to begin.

He was just moving rice.

The entire performance felt like someone had watched a YouTube video titled “What Is Hibachi?” and then decided that was enough preparation.

The most impressive trick of the evening was making the excitement disappear.

The food was fine. Not amazing. Not terrible. Just fine.

But nobody pays hibachi prices because they’re craving rice with a side of silence.

People come for the experience.

They come to dodge flying shrimp.

They come to watch onions become volcanoes.

They come to laugh when the chef launches a piece of zucchini at someone’s face.

Instead, we watched a man cook dinner with the emotional intensity of assembling furniture.

My niece was polite, but I could tell she was waiting for the part everyone talks about.

Unfortunately, so was I.

By the end of the meal, the most entertaining thing at the table was watching us all continue to believe the show might still start.

It never did.

If you’re advertising hibachi, bring the hibachi.

Otherwise just call it “Guy Standing Near Grill Steak House” and set expectations accordingly.

By far the worst sushi I think I have ever had, on a Saturday night I would have expected some decent fresh tasting sushi. With out question of you are planning on getting some sushi do yourself a favor and swing by Publix because it will be much better than this place. Not to mention the state of the bathrooms was deplorable. Here is to hoping that I don’t get sick from the eating the half of the sushi I ordered 🤮. Honestly horrible food, but the staff was kind to be fair.

Not a good experience. It is old, dark and dated. Employees look unhappy and food is mediocre at best.

What an experience!? I love the show. Watching the chef cook everything fresh. Then how he does amazing things while cooking and the little tricks. Thanks so much.

The service was great. I was disappointed they do not have mushrooms with the vegetables. The ginger sauce was mediocre, at best. When I used the restroom, there was an open hole in the floor that definitely should have had a cover over it.

Last minute decision by the kids for hibachi. Had a couple of great fresh sushi rolls and a variety of chicken and steak hibachi. Everything was excellent, prices were fair, and the staff and service were all you could ask for.

Wasn’t busy while we were there. Soup and salad took forever. Soup 10+ minutes after sitting. Salad 20 minutes. Both lacking flavor. Soup was bland. Salad is literally just iceberg lettuce with a little bit of ginger dressing. We were a large group so they had to use 2 grills with 2 different chefs. One side of the tables chef started 10 minutes before the other showed up and started cooking leaving one side of the table finished for 10-15 minutes while the other side was still eating. Not ideal. Their timing is just way off. Service was okay but not great. I think our chef might have gotten into a bottle of Sake but the food was cooked well and tasted good although not the biggest portions. It wasn’t horrible but not what I am use to. There are better options in the area.

My only complaint is that the wood table we sat at was unexpectedly sticky.

I called the restaurant and I asked if we can have our service dog, the manager said yes. I drive 37 minutes to get to this place. We are settled at one table we ordered the drinks and my dog started to bark a little bit and the manager came to our table very frustrated and very rude he told me that we need to live the place. He makes us feel very uncomfortable.

We ordered DoorDash tonight. The food here is great but I decided to add cream cheese to my 7$ shrimp tempora roll, knowing there would be an extra charge as all places do. They charged $8.47 to add cream cheese to a 7$ roll. That’s just insane. I always add cream cheese to rolls at other restaurants and never had to pay that much. Not worth it and disappointed.
