Whit's Frozen Custard of Jax Beach

Very disappointed with our visit on Valentine’s Day. My daughter ordered a mini strawberry cheesecake but was given a scoop of ice cream with toppings instead. She also wanted the mini flavor of the month but was told only smalls were available—yet she ended up with a large. On top of that, my mini scoop wasn’t even mixed or filled properly. Spent $15 on the wrong order, and all they said was ‘sorry.’ Feels like we were ripped off. Won’t be coming back.

Love this place! Our regular Sunday night treat is two HeathBar Whitsers. The young people working there are always super friendly. Tonight they accommodated a special order for us. So nice!

I went here to get some icecream and had a great experience. The employee Caitlyn was the reason for the great experience. She was the kindest person and best customer experience I’ve ever had.she made us feel welcome and valued at this Whit’s. I will be coming back to this location so I can experience the great customer service again.

Went in with family around 9:45pm and did not have good time. When we ordered we noticed the ice cream looked watery and asked the employee if it was “servable” and she said yes- it was not, we were served soup. Then we sat down to “eat” and were told to leave because they were closed. We had just spent $30 including tip. We ate what we could outside with no napkins or access to bathroom to clean off our melty soupy ice cream.

We ordered a medium cup with m&m and oreo, only the top half is blended, the bottom half just plain ice cream, Just one more reason not to come back after the price is raised.

Tonight was our first time here and it was a good experience. The banana split came exactly how we ordered it, and I enjoyed my soft serve waffle cone. It’s nothing fancy but it’s a solid choice for some classic ice cream.

Cute little icecream/custard place near Jax Beach. Friendly servers behind the counter and lots of decisions/flavors to choose from: custard, milkshakes, waffle cones, cups etc. Family friendly atmosphere and you can eat inside or outside this establishment. You can also bring you dog if you are a dog lover. They offer "Doggie ice-cream" for your 4 legged friend.

I ordered a banana split. No cherry on top, chocolate syrup. They girl that fixed it put a cherry on top and no chocolate syrup. I went back to ask her why my order wasn't followed and she said it was. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. Flat out lied to me.

Whit's is our favorite spot here in Jacksonville for a cold, tasty treat. After a long walk in the woods or day at the beach, this hits the spot. They have monthly and daily specials, so there's always something new and exciting to try out. Grab a Whittie (ice cream sandwich) or two for later!

whits is my go to sweet treat place. my friends and i love the flavors and the great quality of custard. however this is the only location that doesn’t completely blend the custard. we’ve noticed this is a trend cause from the past few visits it’s usually just the first inch or two thats blended and then it’s straight vanilla for the whole rest of the cup. other than that love this place.
