Such a cute little bakery! The food is delicious, my kids love the cookies. I'm partial to the pastries. Carlisle and Simone are absolute delights! 1748 Bakehouse is a must visit if you are in the area.
This coffee shop is a true hidden gem! The shop has been passed countless times, unaware of the delightful experience. Upon entering, numerous buckets of vibrant, garden-fresh flowers were immediately visible. The ambiance was charming, and the display case of pastries was truly tempting, especially the enormous butter croissants. The iced chai latte and breakfast sandwich were a great choice. The sandwich's generous size was a pleasant surprise - well worth every penny!
What a treat! I was invited for lunch here and everything at the Bakehouse was a delight. The atmosphere reminded me of a cafe in France. Truthfully, if I had heard accordion music I would have felt in St Germain des Pres, Paris. Allison, the owner was present and attentive to the customers' needs and experience. You must come and enjoy 1748 Bakehouse!
