Everything I have had here is amazing, great food with amazing service!!

The coffee was sour, it tasted old and stale, or it could have been under extracted. What really surprised me were the water stains on the walls and what looked like white dust on their black ceiling above our seating. Overall the service and quality has diminished since their opening. Here's some food for thought, you don't get water with your food anymore like before, and the portions have gotten much smaller for the same price. Also, coffee is served in a cup without a small plate or spoon to stir, and everyone is in a hurry. It's those little things that matter to me. And forget asking for wifi, they have a guest password, but when you ask to access their wifi they tell you they can't grant you access because nobody knows the paasword. It's a frusterating place to eat and feel appreciated. If you're looking for a premier Cuban Cafe there are others in Fernandina Beach to choose from. I'd recommend shopping around. This place has diminished in many ways.

Bright, airy, great food, great service!

The Cuban sandwich, yuca fries and café con leche (coffee) were all good but the staff was unwelcoming and cold. The interior of the cafe was small but had a surprising amount of seating. My husband and I sat at the back of the cafe near the restrooms; which were nice as well.

Great cuban bread for the sandwiches!

I have been in many cuban restaurants and this one is spectacularly good. The detail in the plate when served, the flavor and "sazón" is unparalleled. We order "palomilla" was cooked to perfection and juicy and with "arroz congrí", "platano maduro con queso" and rosted pork was soft, juicy and the sazón was perfect with white rice and black beans soup. I must say that the flavor of the soup impressed me with that touch of smoke that brought back childhood memories. The coffee OMG ? ? I loved it the "café con leche" and the Cuban espresso ? ?. The service is great and I personally congratulated the cook. We had churros and they were FABULOUS, just as we were expecting. Will be back very soon.

I ordered a Cuban sandwich and two orders of croquetas. I only received one order of croquetas which was annoying because I am pregnant and they are a favorite of mine, also why is an order of croquetas only 2 pieces? That's ridiculous on its own. The croqueta was ok. The Cuban sandwich was one of the worst I've ever had. The bread was not good quality and was soggy, the pork was *extremely* dry, and there was no flavor. I'm from Tampa and grew up eating Cuban sandwiches, I know that I'm in north Florida now, but if you're going to purport to be a Cuban restaurant, this should be a basic staple. Its not even that it was just ok, its horrible. Can't believe I paid $15 for just the sandwich that I don't even want to finish.

I had a frustrating experience at this restaurant. I placed and paid for an online order, only to find out when I arrived that one item was unavailable. They told me it would be a quick five-minute wait to prepare a replacement, but I ended up waiting 20 minutes with no updates.

To make things worse, the steak was dry, the fries were stale, and the strawberry pastelito was overly filled with strawberry and tasted off. The lack of communication and poor food quality was disappointing. Won't be returning.
