The wait was so long, I waited an hour. If I would've known that going there my first time I would've preordered or not went at all.. and they don't even check in with you periodically to say what's the status of your order or anything. The side portions are really big. I didn't really like the taste or quality much. It was okay. I'm also not a big fan of fried rice and wasn't aware or given an option to change. I assumed it would come with traditional white, or yellow. My mistake for assuming but that's a weird combination for soul food I guess.

Excellent staff! It was a really busy time when I went in but they were on point. One thing I ordered took a little bit of time to cook. After I paid, I waited on the side for my order. Thankfully, they never forgot about me! I got it right away without having to ask them to check on it.

Food is not what it use to be. Greens was salty,mac was dry. I found a fingernail in my food smh. The new building on the east side is very good rundown.

Ordered the double shrimp (grilled) over shrimp rice and my two sides were: mac & cheese and green beans. It was AMAZING. it definitely matches, actually exceeds the hype! A friend shared your Instagram page with me, and we decided to try it out. Food looks exactly like the Instagram pictures, and it tastes superb! I love seeing local businesses thriving... your food is great. Keep doing you. 👌 👌

I was referred to this restaurant by a friend and I was not disappointed. I ordered the wings and a side of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was so tasty and the portion size was great for it only being $2.50. The wings were delicious and I love the sweet and tangy sauce! I will definitely be returning.

My brother and I have ate here for years. We are never disappointed. Sometimes the wait may be extensive but the food is made to order which I appreciate because I know it's freshly made to order. I always get the lobster meal it's great both fried and grilled. Their seafood salad is really good too. The food is always seasoned perfect. Their greens is also really good! I just wish we can order the daily specials on Uber eats.

Wasn't aware of the health inspection and reviews until now. Last night was my first time visiting. I called to see if I could place a order and pick it up, I was told they don't take order over the phone. Once i got there 10 mins b4 1am the door was locked due to a altercation. I place a order for 6 wings, the wait time was horrible about 30 mins to wait for the wings to be done. But once I got the food it was good I really love the yams. But not sure if I will return until they bomb the place good. But great food and respectable service after the situation he had a 1am . Thanks
