4 Rivers Smokehouse

I haven't had barbecue in awhile, but this isn't what I remember. Dry pulled pork and brisket that tasted like it had been sitting for some time, which is a bit wild when eating at dinner time (7:00 p.m.). Sides looked really processed, as they scooped them from heating trays into paper cups. Mac and cheese looks the frozen glopped stuff, collard greens were clearly canned, green beans looked canned. As another reviewer said, I'd try somewhere else.

So far since moving to St. Augustine this has quickly become one of my families favorite restaurants. The staff is friendly and so far have been very accommodating. On my most recent visit I made a mistake when ordering and they were quick to offer to replace part of my order despite it being my mistake not theirs. Every time we have come the restaurant is clean and everyone seems to enjoy their job. They have many sides which helps with picky eaters. I would definitely recommend.

I love 4 Rivers BBQ and the one in Winter Park is my favorite. Nonetheless, this is what the signature lean Angus brisket looks like in Jacksonville. I do believe John would be very disappointed if he saw the 4rivers in Jacksonville look like this.

Brisket was dry and lacking flavour. It was not tender. Very disappointed. Burnt ends were not burnt. However staff are very friendly. It seems standards are slipping. I used to love 4 rivers

I wasn't WOWed. The fried okra was from frozen and the steak in my salad was not as tender as I would have preferred.

my husband and i have ordered from this place twice already in less than a week! every single item i have ordered has been a 10/10, the meats are absolutely phenomenal, the sides are delicious (beans are really good) and the bread pudding is to DIE for. oh and don’t forget about the sweet tea too!! my husband really liked the cheese grits they are his favorite! we will definitely be very frequent customers :) prices are also extremely reasonable for a bbq place.

Food was amazing not a single bad thing to say but one. Only thing that could have been better is when standing in line to order and dining in they put ur meat on the platter, needless to say by time you get to ur table the meat is cold. But again food amazing service amazing quality and comfort amazing!!! Would deff recommend.
