Wow! What a gem! My brother and I are staying at the doubletree on the river and this place is worth the walk (it’s not the most scenic walk), bbut it is safe. Great beer, bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable and the crowd was awesome! Only reason this is 4 star review is because there was no food available today.

Strictly just a brewery and is so great. They have food trucks come through so at least they have some food! I've only been here once so I was pleasantly happy with the excellent service and even better beer

I can’t say enough about Aardwolf! We love it so much we got married there in the back room in 2022. The price was unbelievably reasonable for the huge space, and the staff were super kind and patient. Fast forward to our anniversary this year. We went to get a beer and wanted to sit in the back room where we got married. The room had a sign saying it was closed. We approached the bartender and told her the story of us getting married at Aardwolf and how awesome it was. She then proceeded to open the back space for us and placed a sign in front of the door to the room that read “ reserved for a private party.” This meant so much to us because we got to relive our special day while enjoying a tasty beer. We also bring our dog often, and they always treat her so well too with pets and belly rubs. All of this and fantastic craft beer as well! My favorite is the beer they have in the summer called “Family”. Funny, that’s what we feel like when we visit!

Aardwolf Brewing has been around for a while and is one of our favorite local breweries.

We come here every so often to check out their seasonal brews and the fun themes that they decorate the main area. There isn't really a set schedule of when they redecorate but they always announce when they re-theme the area on social media.

The staff is always nice and welcoming. They have a nice a variety of brews such as tasty IPA and some very good stouts along with a variety of sours and non-alcoholic beverages.

There's a large game room in the back along with 2 other rooms for small gatherings. The only complaint I have is that the rooms, other than the main room, tend to be echo-y so it's hard to have a private conversation.

I would definitely recommend visiting this brewery and ordering a flight to sample what they have to offer.

Solid local brewery with a really good selection of craft brews.

Located at Hendricks Avenue in the heart of Jacksonville Florida, Aardwolf Brewing Company is housed in what was once an ice factory (South Jacksonville Utilities) built in the 1920s. The company formed by the partnership of Michael Payne (Master Brewer) and Preben Olsen (Entrepreneur) for their love and passion of craft beers. Together, we brings fuse the historic past of the building and roots of Jacksonville with their passion to deliver excellent craft beers to beer enthusiasts in Jacksonville (or visitors like us! ?)

Once inside, you’ll see the craft beer menu on the wall right at the end of the hall. Here you’ll find the beers available for the day as well as the prices for a 16 oz or 4 oz drink.

Just like Ruby Beach Brewing Company, Aardwolf Brewing Company also does not serve food on its premise but collaborates with Chancho King Food truck where you can bring food from the food truck outside into its premise to be consumed together with the craft beers.

There is a reason why Belgium Pale Ale, affectionately known as BPA is the house favourite at Aardwolf Brewing Company. We tried a pint at $5 and found it to be a light ale that is smooth and probably a good match for most food. Perhaps Mexican and Asian cuisine which has a little bit more spices within. Best beer in Jax.

Great beer place with beer garden. Beer selection is extensive. Great service.

Half of the partnership adores stouts and therefore it’s his favorite place in Jax. Their stouts are wide-ranging and perfectly executed—they know their craft. From the other end of beer styles, their IPAs are fun and interesting and never disappoint with their variety or style. It’s a fun and totally unique brewery that deserves its place in the top breweries in Jacksonville. Plus, we can bring the kiddo or the dog on a weekend afternoon and not feel as if we’re committing a cardinal sin. If you like Star Wars, you’ll feel even more at home.

Food trucks in certain days but also allowed to bring food in with you.
Free parking lot outside of building.
We went during when they were holding Space Prom! Super fun event they have every year.
