I will not go back, at this point ☝🏾 in my life. If I find hair in my food this means that the establishment hasn't been as clean from the beginning. They offered to give me another order of the cucumber, tomato 🍅 & onion salad. But at this point I'm just afraid 😣.

Food is great, big portions and relatively inexpensive. Lunch crowd is always big so I tend to wait till 1:00PM or so and its in and out. They always seem pleasant and I have never been left standing there without a greeting.

Usually love going to Akel’s for lunch, but happened to stop by this morning for breakfast because I was craving a biscuit. I got there and they said they had just one left, so naturally I ordered it. I got back to my office and took a bite and very quickly realized I was served an extremely raw biscuit. Not very happy with that today especially considering they are usually great.

Never heard of this place and never would have known if my coworker didn't show me, 1 gyro and im hooked. I've eaten at every place in jacksonville that serves gyro's and the only other competition is tabulah on merrill for price, quality and size. Honestly though I think Akels beats them still
