Good prices, love the decor, people are chill and the music selection is good.
We’ve been here a few times. We created a six pack to drink and play games there. We were the only ones at the counter. The girl working tonight with the dreads, reddish hair and glasses walked behind the bar. Looked at me and I smiled. She didn’t feel the need to greet us. She immediately went on the iPad and started pricing ours beer we got. My boyfriend paid and after he swiped she realized that we were staying. She told us she didn’t realize that and that there would be a cork fee. So after not greeting us, initiating a conversation to see if we were taking our beer to go or stay.. she had the nerve to ask us to charge a corkage fee or we can’t drink them there. We’ve been to other places like this in the area and none of them charge a cork fee. Due to her poor customer service and being rude, we ended up leaving where we probably would have bought more had she waived the cork fee considering she lacked the personality to have a conversation where she could have asked us that. Kind of killed our date night and probably will go to other places nearby to buy our beer from now on.
Was excited to finally go here and pick up some beer. I arrived at 12:30 on a Friday and they were not open. I realize this is a small shop, and there is a lot that can happen that would cause them to open late. That said, I intend to try again this week and see if I have better luck and will edit this review one way or the other with my actual experience.
Fun place. Nice selection of beer. Friendly employee at the bar. I liked the cider she suggested
I shop here often and always have a great experience. The in stock availability is excellent with a wide variety of options for everyone. They pick up some nice out of state product as well as local favorites. They also keep cold singles in the fridge if you don't want to commit to a 4 or 6 pack. Don't forget the meads too as they carry some real gems. Service is excellent and everyone who works there is knowledgeable about their product if you need selection assistance. Always some good craft beer on tap if you want to hang in and relax inside. You can people watch by the window or sit at the bar or tables inside which have a upscale and eclectic dive bar feel. Love this place!
Nice spot for trying out American craft beers. I learned that they have tasting events too.
Nice place to come get a beer with a friend or group!! But it can get packed quick so find a seat asap.
Always a fun time!
Staff are rude, cockroaches around our table and nasty tables. We didn't even finish our beers and left.
Great atmosphere

Great selection and such friendly help from the staff. Helped my lovely wife find the perfect choice.
Awesome place to hang out and play some games with friends. Lots of great beers and knowledgeable and kind staff
Love this little -hidden in plain sight- gem.
I was introduced to Alewife because of book club. I really enjoy the atmosphere, I haven't played any yet but I really like that they have the board games and stuff to play while you're sitting there enjoying your evening. The staff are kind and helpful, it does get a little busy but they get through the little bit of line fairly quickly. I like that the beers rotate too, it makes me try different things every time.
Love this place! Great of offerings of beer, cider and mead. Our bartender Sidre was knowledgeable and very patient with our questions and indecision. It's got a good vibe and very comfortable.
