Outstanding food and service! Armando was our server and he was top notch! He even catered to our pups that were with us on the covered patio looking over a nice water area and fountain. Highly recommend!

The sampler ($18) is the best, we both ate untill full. We still had left overs to take home. We go at least once a week now.

Food wasn’t worth it. EXTREMELY OVERRATED. CHIPOTLE is better. The views was nice but the food isn’t worth the price. I will never go again. EVER! Oh yeah I had to come back and edit this. My Wife LOOOOOVES this place. But after tonight she’ll never be coming back either. Both her and I was sick and couldn’t move. My wife was late for work tonight because the way the food mad her feel. So if you have work eat this place two nights before if you do decide to go. Not worth it. AT ALL! I felt uncomfortable to see my waiter get touched on next to me and my family by another male.

Fri eve Service sucks. Bar guy especially!!!! Just visited few days earlier for lunch. Had a good experience. Fri eve to go Order taker nonchalant about seafood allergy. Probably won't return!!! Manager David only person seems to understand customer service. San Marco location considerably better.

The waiter told me that guacamole was free, but then scoffed at my table when the receipt showed us a charge for 15 dollars. We split the 15 dollar charge amongst 6 people and somehow each person's bill increased by 7 dollars? Very confusing system and we felt cheated

Service was slow even though it wasn't crowded. The waitress wasn't attentive nor sufficient. We ordered the Mango ceviche, it came with chips instead of crackers like the Hendricks location, and the supreme enchiladas and they were out of Mexican rice and charged us for white rice. We still stick with the Hendricks location moving forward.

I came here on a Monday night not expecting much.. then BAM! The best Mexican food I have had in at least 10 years. The main dish was the Molcajete and it’s enough for 2 people. Well, it should be. I ate it all, as well as the chips, salsa, queso, and a margarita. 🤣 The molcajete has lots of protein and vegetables and came out sizzling like fajitas. (Picture with my hand beside it to show the size. I’m 6’2” and 220lbs with big hands. It’s a lot of food.) The margarita was also strong and super delicious. Too bad this was a work trip, or I’d be back many times.

Añejo Cocina Mexicana is easily one of my favorite spots in Jacksonville for authentic Mexican food with a modern twist. The flavors are bold, the plates are beautifully done, and the margaritas… next level. 🌮🍹

Every dish I’ve tried has been fresh and full of flavor, from the tacos to the fajitas to the queso that disappears way too fast. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable, making it just as great for a night out with friends as it is for family dinner.

The staff always go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of, and you can feel the pride they put into both the food and the service. If you’re craving Mexican food in Jax, Añejo is the spot.
