I recently had the pleasure of dining at Annie Ru’s restaurant, and I can honestly say it was a truly special experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warmth and welcoming atmosphere that reminded me so much of my grandmother Carrie’s home in Alabama. The soul food was absolutely divine, bringing back cherished memories of family gatherings and home-cooked meals. Every bite was full of love, just like the dishes my grandmother used to make.
The atmosphere was nothing short of heaven-sent, and it felt like a place where you could truly relax and enjoy your meal in peace. CJ, the owner's son, went above and beyond to make sure every customer felt at home. His humble and compassionate nature was evident in the way he checked on everyone, ensuring we had everything we needed.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that exudes the kind of love and anointing that Annie Ru’s does—from the moment you step through the door, you can feel it. I will absolutely be returning again and again. May God continue to watch over you all and bless your beautiful business.
I love good food I can taste the love and detail, from the rice to the oxtails everything is so fresh and good like auntie and grandma use to make ......the delicious cakes oh so good ...brings back memories

This place is truly a gem. The food was amazing and the service was just as amazing. People were friendly and helpful about means items. I was able to get a sample of the seafood dressing before choosing it as one of my sides. It’s a little far from where I live buts it well worth the drive.

Didn't dine, specifically went in search of chitterlings and found them! Tender and tasty! Every Wednesday and Sunday! Great service, welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit.

The food used to be very good. They have slipped tremendously. I ordered two pork chops dinners and all the pork chops were bland (no seasoning at all). The greens taste like straight vinegar. Rice very bland Anna the seafood dressing could’ve been much better. I give them really a negative one.

This is my first time eating here using DoorDash and I am very disappointed. The food was very cold, no seasoning, very dry, and not as pictured. I've heard people mentioned this place. I'm not impressed at all.
I ordered the special with chicken also side order of meatloaf , porkchop, and turkey wing in which nothing was as pictured. Price is good but food was mediocre.

Terrible food, honestly a waist of 18$ I gave it to my dog , gravy like water with rice floating in it, chicken breast dry , no flavor , the greens were under cooked and also no taste, that crap isn’t soul food , it’s a waist of money, never again. Now, don't judge me. I'm from the Midwest, and we cook a little differently. I had the meatloaf over rice, yam,and greens with a side of chitterlings, yes chitterlings. The lady asked if I wanted rice, and I thought she was talking about the meal, but she was talking about the chitterlings. I said no. Got home, and I was taken aback by those chitterlings cause they were cut up in little tiny Itty bitty pieces, and I was so disappointed it was more hog mauh in it than chitterlings It was a sad day for me as far as getting chitterlings I haven't had in years. Overall, the other food was good. Meatloaf was different. I give them a 7.5 out of 10
