Waiters presentation at the door is lazy, and lack of knowledge of the food. Cook from the back delivered food wearing raggedy sweatpants and t-shirt. Not impressed with management.

I ordered a pancake breakfast meal.
At the restaurant I ate the bottom pancake since it did not have the whipped cream on it
Once I made it home my son advised the two remaining pancakes were burnt on the bottom

I had a terrible experience today at the Margaret St. location in Jacksonville, Fl. with a server named, Haley B. To make matters worse, I tried to share this with the manager and he became defensive of her, instead of listening to my experience. Just because a server treats some people well does not mean they treat everyone well. I have so many complaints about the treatment here under this particular manager. I have run out patience and will NEVER return to or suggest this location when talking to family and friends. Haley became very rude after I asked to switch from black tea to green tea. When she returned with the tea box, I was so turned off by her treatment and attitude, I told her that's okay... I'd like my check instead. I explained it was because she stormed off when I was talking about the tea. To add insult to injury, when she returned with my change, I had my hand out to receive it, just before she reached my table. Literally as I was saying thank you, she put the change down under my hand and walked away. I called the Mgr, who was sitting near by, to share my disappointment. Just then, Haley came back and very loudly said, "Is there a problem?" I said yes and may I finish speaking with the manager. She walked off. The Mgr then said to me, "Haley is one of his best servers, so we're done here." Then he also walked off, without hearing the entirety of my experience. This is hands down the most UNPROFESSIONAL and emotional manager I've ever spoken to. To allow how you personally feel about your servers prevent you from actively listening to a customer's personal experience is not emotional intelligence or consideration for the customer's experience. Keep in mind, that although I didn't have to, I also shared with the Mgr what had gone well during my visit today. Earlier, my English muffin was so rubbery, I couldn't chew it. But the cooks remade it and I told Haley it was perfect. The mgr. had no problem hearing the good feedback... only the parts he didn't like or agree with. When I left at 12:40, the mgr was sitting at the bar eating and talking to Haley as if nothing happened.

Our experience was both odd and disappointing. The inside of the restaurant was shockingly dirty. Large pieces of food, dirty napkins, and used cocktail toothpicks literred the floor. After being seated, we slowly began to realize that we didn't seem to have a server. The staff seemed to be trying their best, so I'll chalk this up to their clunky tablet system. After about 20 minutes, we finally had a server and were given some water.

Now onto the food... they offer an assortment of "southern-inspired" brunch fare. I love Creole food, but their gumbo and biscuit beignets (just pick one) looked dubious at best. My partner ordered chicken and waffles. The waffle looked nice but was stale. On top of the waffle were dry diner quality chicken tenders. You'd think that at least 1 aspect of a 2 element dish would be decent, but alas. I tried to play it safe and ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The patties were bland and unseasoned. My home fries seemed to be the greasy fryer basket dregs and were coated with so much old bay seasoning that my tongue started to swell.

I love brunch. The location is convenient. I am relatively lazy. My bar was low, but this place limboed right under it like it was nothing.

We walked in sat down at the bar and we were ignored by Mandy the bartender. For five minutes then someone she knew walked in amd she ignored us took their order and still didn’t say a word to us/ I have never felt so unwelcomed in an establishment as I did today. She ignored us and never even greeted us. We just left we will never be back I’m so disappointed. We had friends that recommended this place to us but after the treatment we received today from Mandy we will not give this place a try. If Mandy doesn’t want to help all customers she needs to not work with customers.

This place never disappoints!! I love their seasonal menu like the tiramisu French toast. And their sausage is amazing as well.
Of course I'm always happy when there is flavored creamer on the table for my bottomless coffee!

Went there this morning restaurant was pleasing to look at. We ordered the eggs, Benedict Blackstone and two poached eggs, hollandaise and grits with a biscuit. The Benedict English muffin had a freezer burn flavor….overall weak in general. My wife’s poached eggs were cold. The biscuit wasn’t a biscuit. It was an undone piece of bread I guess… Coffee was bitter. My wife did not drink it. We’ve eaten all over the country and for the price point of $44 I’m still hungry and not wanting more…

Customer service was crappy . I typically don’t like my servers to flirt with men at the bar rather than waiting on her tables. But i hope you got their number Raven :) I’m sure others have complained about the crappy service provided by her. I shouldn’t be in a restaurant for over an hour and a half. And i also should not have to wait 25 minutes just to receive the check when my server is chit chatting at the bar. Hopefully you guys can do better customer service wise. I won’t be back
