The service was very slow and the waiter often forgot about us and our request. The shrimp and grits were very salty and it was TOO spicy! It has always been excellent in the past but not this time. Sent it back but it still wasn't the best as I recall.

Our server, Matt B was (and is always!) awesome. He is kind, warm, attentive, knowledgeable and prompt. Great guy and we are always happy to see him when we come in!!! We also think the bartender, Jeremy rocks. He always makes it a point to talk to us and say hi. They are both such assets to ABE!

Went here with a mom's group and we had the best time for brunch. It's nice for those who want to stay healthy or if you want to indulge you can do that as well. We had the sweetest server who let us take our time and enjoy getting to chat. They also let us split bills with no issues between 7 people. My personal favorite is the city grits.

Racial profiling.... luckily I chose to ride along. My husband went In to pick up our food. The WHITE lady walked him back to our car to confirm my name was what was on the order that she insisted she carried to our car. I have never ever had this problem for any takeout; of my husband not being able to pick up food or even carry the bag. Yeah I don't even need to taste the food to leave a review. The review is racial profiling that's it that's the post. Do better!
