11/25 update, back again for lunch and again an excellent experience. Server Ashley was friendly and attentive, line cooks were on point with my pickle fries and perfectly grilled grilled cheeseburger, and manager Jess even came out to make sure everything was as it should be. Thank you. Give them all a raise! 😁

I hadn’t eaten at Applebee’s in years and decided to go here for Veterans Day because they had the best specials. I was blown away at what I have been missing. I had the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. It was extremely busy because of the holiday but they handled the crowd fantastically and we only ended up with about a 10 minute wait (not bad at all compared to other places). Finally, our wait staff was wonderful. I honestly wish I could remember our waitresses name so that she could be recognized for a great job. I will definitely be returning again very soon!

I just want to say it was about 10:30 at night when we showed up but still the food should have been better. My husband and I have been in the food restaurant business for a while. Number one when my food came out I pretty much had grass for my salad. When I ask for for raw onions he brought out some onions that were soaked in oil with salt and pepper but I said no I want purple onions. Then my order was not what I wanted. The soup was cold and literally the bowl was like they took a scoop out of the bowl. It was so bad. But when ask for the manager. The server literally yelled in the kitchen where I could hear him and when I told the manager he clearly made a excuse for what he was doing. You do not yell even when there is only one customer in the there. The server and manger told me they had to keep stirring the soup under the heat lamp. I even said no fires and I got a salad. They gave me fries. The manger said it was supposed to be 3 oz of soup but it didn't say that in the description. The soup tasted like it's been under that heat lamp for while and they just added seasons. The bowl looked like someone ate half out of it. The lack of service even for the late night even for the manager. I will not be going back to a Applebee's. It's been about 7 years since I have been to one. It was late and I was hungry. We got the 2 for 25 but basically got just 10 dollars off. As someone who has been in the restaurant business you should train your servers and managers to be better. This is why I stopped going way back in a different state. The same stuff. I wish I got pictures but worst then ever. Waffle house could have done better.

Four of us stopped in for a quick bite last night and had a really disappointing experience. We sat for about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us — the host actually had to tell the waitress that she had a table. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all (maybe 4-5 other tables), so there really wasn’t an excuse for the slow service.
When the waitress finally came over, we ordered our drinks and an appetizer right away. After another 10 minutes, we still didn’t even have water on the table. At that point, we decided to just grab our things and leave.
We went to Cracker Barrel right around the corner, and within 25 minutes there we already had our drinks, two appetizers, and all of our food.
We tried giving this Applebee’s another chance after they supposedly “redid” things, but it’s safe to say we won’t be coming back again.

We got dinner here it was our first time here in town and our waitress was Bella.
Amazing service if I could give more stars I would and I noticed it wasn't just our table she was engaged with she was thoroughly engaged with her other tables as well and gave each one a good experience and I noticed smiles all around.
Additionally, the other waitress, Mac, not ours but extremely engaging as well for our needs and just socializing while also giving exceptional attention and engagement to her own tables as well.
On top of all that when I had asked for the manager to further praise the outstanding service we recieved there was no hesitation or worry in their demeanor they immediately grabbed Lucy (manager) and brought her to our table at the earliest convenience.
Lucy further backed our experience and said that they have been performing their duties above and beyond what they train for them.
Again, I'd love to give recognition to Bella, Mac, and Lucy at the jacksonville location right next to waffle house as our service was beyond expectations.

I need help understanding what transpired here. We arrive at about 10pm 3 people are sitting at the bar and maybe 15 total guests. 3 of us walk in and head towards the bar host stops us and says there is a 15 minute wait we say we are just going to the bar for a couple of drinks we are denied. Wait 15 minutes ask the host if we can now sit at the bar that has 3 total people and two bartenders and I am told it will be another 15 minutes. I again said we are just getting a couple of beers again denied. I just would love to have someone explain this to me. I am not even mad I am confused. The place looked to be staffed adequately for the number of patrons plus the three of us. Why would you want to turn away business on what appeared to be a quite slow night. It was two hours before closing. We would have probably spent an hour most there and would have tipped quite fair. It wasn’t just us another couple walked in after us and had the mandatory 15 plus minute wait. If you are a manager I would love an explanation. I have never encountered a situation where a almost empty bar area required a 15 plus minute wait to sit in any of the numerous empty chairs
