This place is very unassuming from the outside. It is a busy but semi run down shopping center with a few other restaurants and an Indian grocer. The inside is really unique. Very warm and inviting but also exotic. I had a great lunch. I had a small greek salad and a bowl of lentil soup with a Saganaki appetizer. Sorry I did not photograph the Saganaki show. It was a beautiful table side flambé. The soup was delicious, the salad was fresh and refreshing, saganaki was sweet and salty in the best way. I will be back.

The food was not authentic Greek food. We waited over 20 min until the very nice Waitress showed up at our Table. In her words, she didn’t know that this is her table. I had the stuffed wine leaves as a starter chicken souvlaki with vegetables and rice . I love geek food and ate a lot of Greek food all over the world, specially in Greece. The souvlaki was not a souvlaki , more like fried chicken with oily rice and overcooked vegetables. The wine leaves were really good. The staff is very friendly and the Restaurant is a place where you feel comfy immediately. Overall a nice very restaurant with acceptable food which is not really authentic

The hostess lady was rude and straight up angry. We were sat and then totally ignored. Two tables that were sealed after us got their drinks and put in their order and we hadn't met our server. Eventually just left.

The warm welcome from the owners and the staff truly set this place apart from your average restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing and gives a great environment to spend time with family and friends. Then the food. Authentic and delicious! Eating here always leaves me eager to come back and try the next dish. Delicious soups, appetizers and entrees. Follow up your meal with a home made dessert that you will not regret! Athenian Owl has become one of my top choices in the area. Thank you to the owners and staff!

I loved this place so much! My boyfriend's family is Greek so we came here for a birthday and had such a blast. I have never had authentic Greek cuisine before but this place really blew my mind. The service is amazing and everyone is so fun and accommodating! There are pretty lights and Greek feng shui it's so great

What an absolutely amazing dinner experience. Arrive and was promptly seated and greeted by a server. All were Greek. Doesn't get much more authentic than that. Many of the customers were referred to by name. There was even a Birthday party going on. Very welcoming environment. I had the scallops in a wine sauce with mushrooms and capers over rice. It was tantalizingly good. Before that I had the house salad that was crisp and delicious. The fresh bread and oil was scrumptious. After all this I force myself to try the baklava and it was divine.

This is a local family owned restaurant and my family and I have visited many times! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is great! I love the inside, it is not too small, not too large and feels very homey. Shout out to the owner for always being so kind and always giving us a good laugh!
