Update: Four years after this initial review, and it still applies. There have been numerous bagel places opening near me in Fruit Cove. We've tried all of them, and Bagels 'r US are still the best bagels in the area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Melt-In-Your-Mouth Experience at Bagels R Us & Deli #4! (ADAMS STREET LOCATION) Bagels R Us just raised the bar for breakfast (or honestly, any time of day). I ordered the sausage melt with garlic and herb cream cheese on a cheddar bagel, and it was absolute perfection. The cheddar bagel had the ideal crunch-to-chew ratio, the sausage was juicy and flavorful, and the garlic & herb cream cheese brought everything together in the most savory, indulgent way. For my bestie, I grabbed a bacon melt on an Asiago bagel with light bacon cheddar cream cheese on the side — and it was just as impressive. The Asiago bagel had a rich, cheesy crust, and the bacon was crisp without being overdone. That cream cheese? A game-changer. Creamy, smoky, and packed with flavor without being overwhelming. The ingredients are clearly fresh, the flavors are bold but balanced, and the creativity in these combos is next-level. Whether you’re a bagel purist or an adventurous eater, Bagels R Us delivers serious flavor with every bite. 10/10 — I’m already planning my next visit! *** UPDATE I CAME BACK WITH MY BOYFRIEND THE NEXT MORNING FOR A BREAKFAST DATE BEFORE WORK! He had the Steak, egg, and cheese, with plain cream cheese on a blueberry bagel and then I got the sausage, egg, cheese, with the herb cream cheese on a garlic bagel!

Staar was absolutely amazing—her energy, service, and attention to detail is amazing ! She truly went above and beyond, making sure everything was perfect. Our bacon, egg, and cheese, as well as the sausage, egg, and cheese, are on another level. If you haven’t tried them Bronx-style, you’re missing out!. Definitely a must-try!

The customer service here really needs improvement—the staff always seems unhappy and takes orders with an attitude. On top of that, every time I visit, I leave smelling like burned oil—they seriously need to fix their cooking exhaust system. As for the bagel itself, it’s pretty average, and I don’t get why they load it up with an absurd amount of cream cheese—like, literally a ton.

I've gone to the Beach Blvd location many times, and never had a complaint. But, this location is terrible. I've been here 3 or 4 times, and the wait time is always long, but this time it took them 20 minutes for 3 toasted bagels with cream cheese, and one bacon/egg/cheese bagel. While standing there waiting, I witnessed three customers who ordered after me receive their orders. It was painful to watch how slowly the employees would work behind the counter. They just didn't care. And the whole time, the manager (owner?) was just chatting with some other customers. At no point did he assure us our order was next, or apologize for the wait, or simply offer to check on our order.
To top it off, all of our bagels were hard. I can't say this is the case, but they tasted/felt like yesterday's unsold bagels. I will not be returning.

My husband and I have been coming here for over a year now because the bagels are always amazing, and they never run out! Also the customer service is really great. 😊 I accidentally ordered to the wrong location and they took care of me.

Best bagels outside of New York.

Stopped here on a whim and so glad we did! The Jefe bfast sandwich pleased my hungry 15 yr old son (impressive). The home fries were perfect and chicken salad was simple and delish. The watermelon mint drink is a must! Will definitely be back!

Expected better. They refuse to slice one of the half dozen bagels (so 1 of 6 bagels). Advised it would be extra. Always out of the chocolate chip bagels. Zero customer service.

Unable to customize the dozen or half-dozen pack. Ordered 6 plus an extra just to get it toasted, ran out of what I ordered after I paid putting the items into someone’s online order. So I’m left buying extra bagels to get less than 6. Kind of a sham for the vibe this company tries to put off.

Ordering here might have been the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. You seemingly have to use a tablet to order and the options are not explained and it’s not clear how to order what you want. There are limited options based on the selection you make and there’s no way to know if what you initially selected is what you want until you’re five steps in and discover it’s not the right thing. Fine enough if you just want a dozen bagels, confusing and frustrating if you want a sandwich. Like what even is a Bronx sandwich? I don’t know! You don’t say it anywhere! Probably won’t be coming back but I hope the bagels are good.

EDIT: they forgot the turkey on the only bagel sandwich I managed to order.

Honestly as someone who loves breakfast this is my go to bagel place! Henry is such a great guy and cooks up awesome bagel sandwiches. I would recommend this place to anyone!
