I love love love the oxtails with rice and peas with the string beans. This time I got the oxtails with the curry goat. Amazing food as usual. I travel 3 hours for the food and I will continue to do so

As a foodie and a person who comes from a family full of Jamaicans it took some time to come to this conclusion. THIS IS THE BEST JERK CHICKEN I’VE EVER HAD. Do yourself a favor and get you a plate!

The cashier, Sharri, had EXCEPTIONAL customer service! I had the oxtails, rice & peas, cabbage with a side of Mac & cheese. Oxtails tasted great! Would’ve liked the gravy to be thicker and more spicy, but that’s a personal preference. Sides tasted great, but the Mac & cheese wasn’t exceptional to me. Their fruit punch is SOOO good!!! Prices do vary from the online menu. Everything we ordered was about 4-8 dollars more expensive in person, but the cashier was very generous because of that.

This would be the second time we visited ballas Caribbean restaurant The service has been very friendly and prompt the food is always hot and fresh My favorite dish would be the jerk chicken My wife's favorite dish is the curry goat. The vibes are always chill laid back and relaxed there's plenty of seating to eat and just hang out and have a good time

Left the zoo and picked up jerk chicken. It was so good, stopped back on my way home and picked up 3 dinners to take home to the family. Everything was AWESOME!!!

Great food but the small oxtail order was one piece of meat.

The Jerk chicken is delicious! They have the best in Jacksonville!

Nothing was authentic about this Jamaican food. No seasonings no flavor the rice has a terrible odor as if it was old. The service was horrible and everything was too expensive for the location. And the liquor they were serving was watered down! A complete waste of my money .

I will be reporting them Monday morning! I was sick as a dog!! They kitchen utensils are not clean! Me an my aunt are still feeling bad from eating that curry chicken . Straight food poisoning!
