The food (Oxtail with red beans and rice and cabbage)was good compared to the other Haitian restaurant I went to (because of that, I was reluctant to try Beignets out).
Honestly, their food was very reminiscent of my mom's oxtail. I enjoyed it. They gave me so much rice that I am going to freeze it for my Sunday dinner ???.
Thank you!
Parking: The handicap parking is right on the edge of the street at an angle. So, be careful backing out of there.

No frills restaurant with seats for dine in.
I ordered over the phone and picked up with no issues. Food was completely promptly.
The man who took my order picked up the phone promptly and I had no issues.
Popular with the locals.
Food was hot and delicious. I order the Tasso Kabrit (fried goat) and stewed turkey.
I’ve been looking forward to this meal in a while.
Order came with options of rice and beans (diri coleé) or white rice and stewed beans. A small side salad. Pinkos and a slice of tostones. Banane. Fried plantains.

My husband bought Lambi. It was awful, the worst i ever tasted. As an Haitian/American i grew up on this kind of food. The Lambi tasted like it was thawed out and Doctored up to hide the poor quality. Overly peppered and made in a tomatoes base, which isnt the norm for me. Ive never heard of Lambi prepared in a tomatoes base and ive eaten this food from the best cooks. Very very disappointed.
Got lambe rice and plantain. The lambe was not the way I like it. Tomato base with a lot of hot pepper, could not taste the lambe, my wife said it’s like they were trying to hide something. Did not have the texture of fresh lamb. It seemed like it was frozen and reheated. Yes, I am Haitian and I grow up eating Haitian food from my mother. I also had lambe from other people and restaurants in NY and Haiti. It did not taste good to me. I know people may cook it differently but this again was not good. My wife and I was very disappointed. I will not go back.

I love Beignets this has been go to spot for years. They have the best Red Snapper I’ve ever taste & I’ve been to several places locally and out of state and have yet to find any Red Snapper that even come close to theirs ?

My first time at Beignets Caribbean Cafe. Pleasantly surprised fast and courteous service. The Stewed Chicken, Cabbage and Red Beans with seasoned rice was very tasty. Portions were larger than I expected too. Great value. Highly recommend trying the quaint restaurant.
