BENTO Jacksonville Riverside

The food tastes okay, but my order is wrong half the time. I'm learning from my experience and not ordering from here again.

The food is usually ok... but they always forget something or the skimp on something. A few days ago i ordered a side of garlic green beans and there were barely 10 green beans in there it seemed. It was maybe 2 or 3 bites. And the prices are not cheap. So now I guess I need to check every container. Spent $90 for the whole mean.... only to get home and open the container to see that. I was pissed.

The ginger dressing is great. I ordered the volcano roll and it was great. I would recommend the place.

Udon noodles were so bland. The portion size was so small and a combo took me to $25. Not worth the money spent, lesson learned.

Got the wok fried rice with beef. Came at 8 pm close to closing around 9:30 and didn't really get any help until I asked if they were open. Food was okay service was ok.

The poké bowl isn't worth it for the price. It tastes good as it should but its mainly veggies and toppings and only a small scoop of fish/meat. And of course you have to pay more to get more. I probably won't come here again, as I have a better poké spot than gives more for a decent price. They even forgot one of the toppings I chose. Not a good look on my first time visiting.

I truly hope get better or get out of business asap! Every time we go there it’s a new disappointment. Bento was awesome around 2019, but it is constantly dropping items of the menu, i.e. brown rice, curry sauce, furikake, reducing topping from poke, etc. Sushi quality from Riverside location is also getting worse. So disappointing…

This place doesn't deserve 3.5 stars. It deserves 5 because it's top-tier Asian food.

I usually love Bento, but my latest experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) I ordered my poke bowl to go via Uber eats, as usual, with a side of teriyaki sauce. I receive a message from my Uber driver that Bento is out of teriyaki sauce and I can choose a different one. No biggie, I’ll take Japanese bbq instead (it’s similar) I receive another message from my Uber driver that Japanese bbq is more expensive than teriyaki, so Bento will not give that to me instead. Need I say more?

BEWARE! My mom and mother in law watched one of the guys making food drop the crab in the trash, look around to see if anyone saw, pick it out of the trash and use it in the food. Absolutely disgusting.

It was our first time eating at bento in downtown Jacksonville. And I am extremely pleased with the customer service Jesus provided. He was so attentive and kind. My mom and even my small kids said how much of hard worker he was. He also spoke Spanish which made it easier for my mom. I wish every restaurant had someone like him working. ! The food was delicious and it was also a clean environment!.

The WORST experiences I have ever had, trying to obtain food for my office. ALWAYS contact them directly to ensure they received your order, if you ordered via their website, or you'll be left like my office the second time: stranded without ANY food and forced to quickly look elsewhere. We will NEVER order from them again.
