I ordered my son a pizza and had a taste for something different n saw this restaurant next door I saw ppl talking about it i said let me just try it. Mac n cheese was sweet definitely not a desired taste for Mac n cheese it was also over cooked. The curry chicken wasn’t the best had way too much accent seasoning that u could taste it. Over all I did not enjoy it at all.

Looks like a hole in the wall but great Jamaican food. The j*** chicken is very good. Portions are generous and filling. If you like this style of food you will like Best Taste. Something foe everyone and a good variety to choose from. I recommend giving them a try. About $13 per person.

Food was salty, too much gravy on rice. Plain rice and not rice and beans like it said in the description. Mac and cheese was sweet like they added sugar. Nothing had seasoning. Shrimp was overcooked. Will never order again. Not true Jamaicans

The taste of the food was good. It's the portion size and amount of meat you actually recieve. We both got med size plates. ($40 both) Look closely at the pictures closely and you will notice lots of potatoes and bones. Notice the meat of the oxtails as well. It was mostly fat or potatoes. The Mac and cheese and cabbage was bland as well. Rice wasn't flavorful. This place has the potential to be amazing but they need to improve in some areas.

Ordered through UberEats. Took some photos, but my phone somehow got wiped out, UGH. Also wish they would put some anti tampering seal on the bag instead of just knotting it. Not a deal breaker though. Ordered a large curry and j*** chicken. Sides were rice & peas, mac & cheese, cabbage, and cornbread. I thought the food was good, not great. The curry and j*** wasn't as flavorful as I'd hope... Not much gravy on the rice, and DEFINTELY not what it would taste like in Jamaica. Maybe it was an off day? Hopefully. I did enjoy the cabbage and rice & peas. Corn bread was also good, but in Jamaica they had coco bread and that stuff is off the chain!

The curry chicken taste like it was sitting for days and the peach cobbler is not cobbler, it's bread with peaches and cinnamon folded in. I had some banana pudding to top it all off which is one of my favorite deserts. This was piled high with fresh bananas and vanilla wafers, and each bite was resemblant of that classic dessert we all know and love. I definitely left full after Best Taste, but my tastebuds are telling me this isn't the end. I'll be back here in a few days for sure for that glorious buffet. I just found my new favorite spot.

EVERYTHING & when I say EVERYTHING was delicious it was. I'm a Jamaican lady & it tasted like home. The customer service was excellent & the owner came out to speak. It was clean, the food great, & the booths comfortable. The portions are big too. We ordered smalls & couldn't finish it all. I don't normally leave reviews but this was such a great experience I had to.
