Everyone there treated my cousin and I like regulars! Fantastic food and so apologetic for the wait. I enjoyed the time I got to spend socializing with my cousin. I loved the American flag and patriotic southern atmosphere. The burger was big and the bacon was crunchy, with delicious sautéed mushrooms on it!

I had heard that Bill’s Diner had the best chicken and dumplings in Jacksonville, so I called the day before to verify they still served them on Fridays. I talked with a very nice, friendly lady named Lorran and asked if they were as good as I’ve heard. She said, “They are better than your mama’s” I immediately knew I wanted to eat there. Tonya served up the best chicken and dumplings I’ve had since my grandma was alive. The food was delicious and the service was even better. Great job to Tonya, Lorran and the cooks.

We ended up paying over $46 for: 4 eggs, 2 pancakes, 1 waffle, 2 sausage patties and a chocolate milk.
Absolutely Insane prices for this place that is unchanged since the 60s. It's gross inside. Sticks menus, sticky tables, sticky booths. Only thing decent was the homemade sausage patty. But $46 for what we wanted was outrageous. That's an expected price for that breakfast at Disney or a fine dining restaurant. Water tasted like it tan through moldy pipes. Avoid at all costs. We were robbed.

First found this place due to my father in law back in the 90's. He sort of had a magic sense to find the best places to eat. This place is exactly what it looks like and serves great food, always. I brought a friend out the last time I was here...I was surprised he had lived nearby for more than 20 years and missed it.

We were looking for a late breakfast on our way home to New York. Saw the reviews for Bills Diner and thought we would give it a try. We are so glad we did! Excellent breakfast! The pancakes were HUGE and some of the best we’ve ever had. The hash browns were crispy and perfect. My husband had the French toast and bacon and enjoyed every bite. Our waitress Sue was fantastic and even brought over some homemade jam for us to try. It was so delicious!. The place is cute, very homey, and clean. The food….fantastic! The service… perfect and the two women working the front, Sue and Kris, were adorable and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed it all and are going to make it a stop whenever we go back-and-forth to our place in Florida! Highly recommend!

Stopped in one day in hopes to receive that mom and pop diner feel. Definitely wasn't disappointed. Met my expectations and the staff was great. All the food came out hot and as ordered.
If you are looking for that small town mom and pop diner environment this is your spot.
