This place sucks, had to get our own menus took an additional 20 mins to get waited on then another 40 mins for our breakfast which was cold. Did they care not at all. 46.00 for 2 cold breakfast. Will not ever be back and don't recommend at all. They are terrible.

I was in this place last Saturday morning because I've heard good things about it and it's close so I gave it a try for a take out. From when I first got to the counter the woman there with glasses, don't know her, seemed bothered and angry that I ordered because there was a large table in the other room they were making food for. The whole time there i felt like I was a problem for this woman and couldn't wait to just get out. When I paid she made a point to show me that the machine was set on a 20 percent tip and that's what I should pay. This was a terrible experience , the worst I've had at a restaurant, and I have been to some pretty bad places in my time in the Air Force. I will never go back. The biscuits and gravy weren't good anyway, the gravy tasted like it came from a can.
Great breakfast, and some had burgers. The homemade blackberry/pepperjam was Heavenly. The lady who makes these is awesome!
The waitstaff is remarkable. We will stop again if in the area.
I would highly suggest you stop here. You will NOT be disappointed.

Slip back in time to where the staff genuinely care about you and the quality of their food. Custom real homemade dishes and a friendly down home atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a small town diner with old friends. Food is also hands down delicious.

Everyone there treated my cousin and I like regulars! Fantastic food and so apologetic for the wait. I enjoyed the time I got to spend socializing with my cousin. I loved the American flag and patriotic southern atmosphere. The burger was big and the bacon was crunchy, with delicious sautéed mushrooms on it!

I had heard that Bill’s Diner had the best chicken and dumplings in Jacksonville, so I called the day before to verify they still served them on Fridays. I talked with a very nice, friendly lady named Lorran and asked if they were as good as I’ve heard. She said, “They are better than your mama’s” I immediately knew I wanted to eat there. Tonya served up the best chicken and dumplings I’ve had since my grandma was alive. The food was delicious and the service was even better. Great job to Tonya, Lorran and the cooks.

We ended up paying over $46 for:
4 eggs, 2 pancakes, 1 waffle, 2 sausage patties and a chocolate milk.
Absolutely Insane prices for this place that is unchanged since the 60s. It's gross inside. Sticks menus, sticky tables, sticky booths. Only thing decent was the homemade sausage patty. But $46 for what we wanted was outrageous. That's an expected price for that breakfast at Disney or a fine dining restaurant. Water tasted like it tan through moldy pipes.
Avoid at all costs. We were robbed.
