Pretty crappy that your site is still up and running. I made a reservation for my sons 18th birthday yesterday. I even got a text wanting to confirm. We show up and it's a ghost town. Clearly you are closed but have the decency to shut everything down. My son was severely disappointed since he picked your restaurant.

The menu presented was not the same as the menu online, much fewer options. The food was uninspired. Although my duck was well seasoned, the skin was rubbery, like it had been precooked and then reheated. The carrots on my plate were ok, but the broccoli was rather gray, and the couscous had an unpleasant flavor. There were no dessert options offered. We wanted to like this spot, but there were not enough positives to warrant a return visit.

We had a graduation party for 60 people at the Blue of San Marco and i cannot tell you what a wonderful experience we had. The food was definitely a 10, the chef outdid himself along with the wait staff. I would highly recommend them for any occasion.

Beautiful cozy restaurant with the best arancini in the world?! But def in Jacksonville! The service was warm and sweet and the ambiance well lit with nice place settings. Seriously people these arancini balls were out of this world. What sauce is that? I’d like to bottle it to drink when I’m stressed. Unfortunately though it seems the menu is hit or miss. The octopus salad could have been better but then the stuffed cod was phenomenal on texture and flavor! Further tests are needed!

We use to frequent Blue almost once a week until the place went down hill. The manager who is the financial backer is rude to wait staff and cooks. He drove so many employees out. We went in on valentines night and saw plenty of tables open in the main dining room and instead he sat us in the back dining room we later found out that he said he was only putting “well put together” couples in the front dining room. He only wanted to hire “pretty thin” servers if they were female. He was a very negative influence on a very positive atmosphere. We loved going and getting to see friendly faces and have great food but that all changed once that manager started changing the way things were done. The Front of the house manager before he stuck his nose in things was running it perfectly and we didn’t have any issues.
The technology fee is deceitful. You only see this after getting the check.

I was very excited to make reservations here for my friend's birthday. I did it online for Saturday then called on Wednesday to make an adjustment.
Upon arriving on Saturday, we checked in and were told to go to the lounge and our table would be ready in 5-7 minutes. While in the lounge, we did get excellent service from Nicholas, the bar manager. After about 10 min, we still hadn't been called... so we waited 5 min more and finally walked up to the host stand. We were informed that it would be 2 more minutes which took am extra 15.
Upon sitting down, we realized that they were only offering a limited weekend menu due to Mothers Day, which overall, I do understand. However, nothing was mentioned on Wednesday when I called or when we walked in to check in which was pretty disappointing.
Our server Thomas was great. We did order appetizers and shared the birthday cake. Overall, not a horrible experience, but I do wish things were communicated a bit better and maybe the host shouldn't be scrolling his phone and taking phone calls while trying to help people.
We ended up going to V's and Sidecar to get our actual dinner and continue our celebration. 10/10

We had the unpleasant experience of dining here on Tuesday. They seemed to be short staffed, as our server played the part of host, server, and bartender. I understand that is not his fault, but it exacerbated the issues that arose.
It took 30 minutes for 3 of us to have drinks delivered to the table. I ordered an Espresso Martini and there were bugs in it (pictured). The waiter remedied this by taking my drink and an appetizer off the final bill. I did not order another drink.
We were attending a show later in the evening and wanted to try a Prix Fix Menu, which was advertised on their website. The waiter seemed aghast that I would even suggest they had this. So I showed him my phone and he said that it must be incorrect or something new that had not been made aware of.
Ordered a side of the broccolini with our meal to share, and it was charred and nearly inedible. It crumbed apart on the plate. Was only given a butter knife to cut, which was also difficult.
We had a friend join us for dinner who was scoping out a spot for her and her out-of-town family to enjoy upon their next visit, and she was quick to state they she would not be returning.
Arrived at 5:00 and left at approximately 6:45. There were only 2 other tables sat in the restaurant.
We frequent many other dining establishments in San Marco, and enjoy them immensely. This could have been an absolute one-off for this restaurant, but we will not be returning.

UPDATE ON A PREVIOUS REVIEW…
After my experience of bad service and no apologies, the manager Reached out to me and had me and my boyfriend back in for a meal on the house. Drinks were great food was phenomenal and service was above and beyond.
I definitely recommend this place. I won’t let one bad server ruin my overall view of this place now. They more than write it wrong. All I needed was an apology. And both times the food was delicious. The Kitchen definitely knows what they’re doing here. And I understand everybody makes mistakes or has bad nights. Thank you Blue For a wonderful date night and a make up Valentine’s Day dinner.
