The roast duck was excellent. My partner had a shrimp dish and it was a little above average.Server was a little aloof and not very helpful. It is one big room with many tables, very loud, hard to have a conversation with the person you’re with. It was pretty cool that a robot cart brought the food to the table. When I return, I’ll eat in the bar area, which seemed to be a lot more quiet.

Went for lunch and was disappointed. The fried rice was hard and seemed old, despite the waitress claiming it was fresh. The beef and broccoli was subpar and even had a bone in it. The stir-fry egg noodles with shrimp were overly oily, and the shrimp tasted foul and not fresh. Overpriced menu for quality. On the bright side, the hot and sour soup and the decor were good. For the best Chinese food in town go to Hong Kong bistro or YH dim sum.

My boyfriend and I went to Blue Bamboo for dinner last night. The experience was underwhelming. We love Chinese food and had high hopes for a new restaurant to add to our list of favorites but this fell flat. We ordered pepper steak, shrimp lo mein and lettuce wraps as an appetizer. The food was the same quality as takeout and a lot more expensive. We ordered cocktails (2 each) - dirty martini with gin ($16) and cider ($6). The cider was priced in-line but the dirty martini was priced a few dollars higher than it should have been. Our bill came to $106 before adding the tip. The restaurant itself looks nice inside but the atmosphere was pretty sleepy for a Saturday night. The server was just meh. He did his job but had no personality. Based off this experience I would not recommend Blue Bamboo. We expected more and left disappointed.

Food was good but not much better than a lot of the take away restaurants in Mandarin. $106.00 bill for two entries, shrimp lo mein and pepper beef, 2 martinis two Angry Ochards and lettuce wrap app. You get 4 small lettuce cups with the lettuce wraps had to ask for 2 more to finish the filling.

Thus was our first time dining at Blue Bamboo.....we were NOT disappointed. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Loved my Mandarin Express Martini. We started with Spring Rolls, Cabbage Salad and Crispy Bok Choy. General's Chicken and Spare Ribs for our entrees. Finished with the Choclate Mousse and Orange Cake. Everything was delicious. Chef Dennis, Skylar, Trina provided excellent service. Everyone was personable and professional. Looking forward to our next visit.

We ordered take out tonight after scrolling Google for “restaurants near me” and we were SO pleasantly surprised to find this quality of food in our neck of the woods.
We had edamame (my kids devoured our leftovers) honey shrimp + rice, and pepper steak + rice.
Husband says the place is extremely nice inside, so I’d plan to dress up a bit if I were eating in! Overall, high remarks to the chef!

Their saying on the menu is "Chinese Food you eat with a fork and knife," this fits perfectly. I tried the Chow Fun with beef and my bf had the ribs. The flavors were authentic and everything was super juicy and fresh. I really enjoyed the food, the price point was a little higher than expected, but the atmosphere and the service definitely has that fine dining feel.

Stopped by just to give them a try and needed to order for takeout. WOW. The atmosphere inside is very nice, and we will return when we can dine inside (watch for the robot). The service was friendly, helpful, and even exceeded expectations. However, the true test was waiting until we got home and ate the food. Exceptional is short of description. Both of us truly enjoyed our meal. The preparation and flavors were incredible.
