This was me and my husband's first time visiting The Blue Crab. Food great, service magnificent our server Bailey informed us that this was her first day starting she's been training and we were her first customers if I could give her 10 Stars I would the atmosphere and ambience was just great looking forward to coming back visiting again thank you blue crab for allowing us to enjoy our Good Friday with you all

I dined with a coworker last week, and our experience was great! Diana was a terrific server, always checking on us. The blue crabs were perfectly spiced, and the bread pudding was delicious. The manager, Michael, came out to greet us and was very pleasant. He is a delight. We will be visiting again and will happily recommend it to friends.

My wife took me here for my birthday on Friday night, and everything was extraordinary from the service, the atmosphere and the food. I am from Maryland originally, and being a Maryland Style Crab House, the food definitely reminded me of the Crab House’s back home. It was excellent, Highly recommended! We will definitely be back very soon!

Friendly place Cindy stood out. She took my credit card wiped it off then took it back to the bar. Later I noticed unauthorized charges on my card. Mushrooms madae me sick. Other crab stuff nothing to write home about. Use cash only here at this
Went on Friday for a birthday. The crab dip was good, the mussels and escargot were WAY overcooked and tiny. The shrimp Caesar salad had a small amount of dressing. Had to use cocktail sauce. Asked server for ketchup for the fries, she never came back until she delivered the bill. The other main courses were beyond disappointing, no flavor, overcooked, or bathed in rice. The drinks were good, but I won’t be back. The prices don’t match what you are served.

Had dinner with family for my mom's birthday today, it was disappointing. Smallest muscles I've ever seen in my whole life (no exaggeration), but the sauce was good. Same for escargot and it was way overcooked. Shrimp and sausage skewers taste was off putting and just bad. Crab dip was good, fries too. Crabmeat Remick was only ok, same for gumbo. Shrimp etouffee was more overcooked shrimp chop suey with cabbage, carrots and bland AF with way too much rice. It was weird. Shrimp cocktail was good and so was the cornbread. Drinks were on point and the best part of our meal. Won't be back to eat that is for sure.

We came here based on my niece’s rave reviews. Not sure why I thought this was on the river! I’m a Jax native who moved away to a big city years ago but I always miss good local seafood. I’ve tried so many places when I come back, from Julington Creek Fish Camp, North Beach Fish Camp, Sliders and Safe Harbor. This is by FAR the best seafood we’ve had in years. Every single dish we ordered was FRESH and extremely flavorful. The shrimp was some of the freshest I’ve had in a while. The hush puppies were so light, airy and melted in your mouth. The blue crab was fresh but the snow crab was our absolutely favorite! The garlic butter was the perfect ratio of garlic, parsley and butter! I wanted to bathe in it! :)McKenna was our server and she was incredible and extremely attentive. She explained everything on the menu and made sure we had a great experience. I would give her 10 stars instead of 5 ⭐️! Cindy was so kind as well. She was so sweet and accommodating.The music was my favorite… so nostalgic. Loved the entire experience from start to finish and we will be back.

While the view from the road may not be impressive, don’t let this restaurant’s appearance fool you. The atmosphere is great and the service is impeccable. We were fortunate enough to be seated by the bar and under Jacob’s attentive care. What a treat! Not only was his treatment of us professional and expedient, but he brought plenty of joy to our meal through his jokes and charming looks. We started out with a pitcher of margaritas and the crab bites appetizer both of which were delicious. For the main meal we had the seafood pasta (at Jacob’s recommendation), fish and chips, and a caesar salad with blackened chicken. Everything came out to us perfectly cooked and was promptly devoured. To finish off our meal, we tried both the key lime pie and the strawberry pineapple cheesecake. I had never considered corporate espionage before but the recipes would definitely be worth it. In all, we had a great time and will definitely be back next time we are in town. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Crab cakes and fish with slaw, hush puppies, and red potatoes. All delicious! 3 of us each had a different meal. No complaints. The key lime pie is the best. I'm not a huge key lime pie fan but this was delicious, and I would order it again.
