The food very salty. I already let them know less salty , however my soup came out like I drink salty soup.

I thought the atmosphere was very nice but I’m not into “sweet” curries or pad thai. It tasted like there was a lot of sugar in my meal. I also got the chicken satay and the chicken didn’t have much flavor. I read alot of reviews mentioning how sweet it was so when I went here I was wondering if it was going to taste like that and it did. Now maybe … there a certain area of Thailand where everything is sugary… or maybe the chef just likes everything sweet but for me personally there’s not enough flavor nor spice.

I love this pad Thai! It is delicious and they give you a good amount. I like how they add tofu to this one it adds to the volume. The restaurant does a lot of BOGO promotions for the pad Thai so if you catch them on a good day you can get a nice discount.

This has been our go to splurge takeout and intimate café for good consistent Thai cuisine for a long time. We have been increasingly disappointed with the ongoing increased pricing; but even more so with the inconsistent quality. Last night was probably our final splurge there, as the food was incredibly bland and very poor quality. we had our classic standard order of pad thai and yellow curry and fresh summer rolls. The rolls were just OK, but the main entrées were pretty horrible. unfortunately I won’t be recommending them in the future.

Got some take out. The drunken noodles were great! Fresh food. The only reason I gave it a four-star was asked for medium and it wasn't spicy at all. ☹️Other than that everything else is great and the people are great!

The food is terrible. They put lots of sugar in the food because there is no Thai flavor in it. We went there this Sunday. I had the basil stir fry. No taste. No basil flavor. Lots of sauce in the plate that looked like a cheap gravy. My husband had Phad See Ew, listed ingredients are flat rice noodles, sweet dark soy sauce, egg, carrot and Chinese broccoli, but it was very very very very sweet. Terrible! How can the dish be that sweet when there is no sugar in listed ingredients. We complained to the server for the low quality of food and the fact that one dish tastes like sugar and one has no basil flavor but what she can do? Pretty sure they are told to tell clients that this is what people requested but I don’t think people who go eat at Thai restaurants ask for tons of sugar in the main dish and no Thai flavor. It is a shame! A also, they should lower the prices because sugar is very cheap and since there is no Thai flavor in the food …. why charging so much money for cheap food?

For a special event I placed a Grubhub order on March 1. I have eaten at this establishment many times - a favorite. The order never came and then the explanation that due to being out of one item the entire order was cancelled. No communication occurred or any attempt to substitute. A possible wonderful evening was ruined and I have no response except a refund. I’m thinking that Buddha’s Belly is going to now be my Thai go to. So sad!

Blue Orchid has been our "go-to" Thai restaurant since we moved here 2 years ago. Even though it's been consistently good, last night was the best meal we've had in 2 years. Not sure what's different but they have upped their game. We had drinks, 2 appetizers and 4 entrees (a curry, a stir-fry, a noodle dish, and the house specialty soft shell crab) for 4 of us and gobbled them all down. Excellent! I like this so much better than other Thai in the area.
