We are frequent flyers here at Blue Sky. Usually it's hit or miss but never so bad that we don't want to come back. However tonight was just so bad. Out of everything, I was most disappointed with the kids meals. It was 65 cent wing night and I would've been better off buying the kids plain wings rather than a kids meal. The meal came with literally two bites of chicken and fries. The fries were a good portion but the chicken was the size of two fried shrimp. A kids meal is meant for up to 12 year olds and this would never be able to come close to filling up a 12 year old. We had to get even more food for our kids after the kids meal.

We would have complained but after addressing the first issue with our server, she ended up snobbing us and ignoring us for the rest of the night. I sat without a drink for 15-20 minutes. She helped all the tables surrounding us but never cared to look at us or check on us until I had to yell for her as she was walking away. I’m also pretty sure we were charged full price for our beers during happy hour but I don’t have my receipt to prove it. I am not one to raise my voice or even mention when something is wrong but this experience was just so bad.

Me my wife and daughter went to bingo last night and this was probably our 5th time going and we never had a problem this time the waitress said my daughter had to order something even though she was not hungry. I said I'm not doing that between me and my wife we will be ordering more than enough. Waitress left and everything was good until the end of the night the manager said I had to pay an extra $15 on my bill. I said no and she said leave don't pay your bill and don't come back. There isn't anything posted about this a note on the table says bingo rules spend $15. It doesn't say per person and it doesn't say on food and drinks it looks like it means spend $15 on bingo. Also my bill would of been around $50 before tip. It should not matter who bought what if a group of 3 spends $50 it should be fine. She cost your restaurant several good customers and $50. I told the waitress at the beginning of the night I wasn't paying the extra money or getting food I don't wont and they decided to serve us food and lots of drinks for free all night. Thanks for the free meal

They advertized trivia for all but when we arrived we were turned away b/c we didn't have a reservation. It seemed very elitist.

My husband and I love our cheap little Tuesday date nights here with 65 cent wings. From the air conditioned restaurant we sometimes watch people golf, other times we watch planes take off or land. Just a cool little place to be.

Great food & service. It's overlooking a beautiful green golf course & most likely a blue sky!

I completely understand having a bad day or a hard shift or just not wanting work somedays but don’t take it out on others.

BlueSky Bar & Grill is very cool spot, it’s kinda hidden inside behind the JAXEX Airport, they have a golf court, golf carts and a small entertainment golf bays similar to top golf but way smaller.
They also have a fire pit outdoor as a hangout seating area for those who want to enjoy the nice Florida weather. The restaurant is top notch. Food is on point with some of the most popular dish for instance the famous New Orleans Po’Boys. A bar and a small party room for at least twenty to thirty people are also available to small gathering of friends or family. Please if you are leaving in Jacksonville go check it out, It is guaranteed you are going to love it.

After hitting some balls we went to the restaurant and love the food. The first time was the hamburger and fish. We enjoyed the food and people so the next time we came back just for the food. It was a relaxed sports bar feel.

My wife and I recently discovered this place and have really enjoyed golfing and dining here. Tonight at dinner, we witnessed two young men (probably 20) come in and have an altercation with the manager behind the bar. It was clear they had been witnessed misbehaving on the course and came in to start trouble. The manager was extremely professional, courteous, and calm. My wife and I both own/run businesses and we were very impressed. Alli would be an asset to any organization…but we are glad she’s here.

We have been coming to Blue Sky to golf for years now. They have great food, good driving range, and very nice employees. But the golf course condition is very poorly managed. The greens currently are painted dirt with seeds. We play all over the Jacksonville area and have never seen anything like this. They charge full price for golf when all 18 greens are a dumpster fire. The green's keeper should be relieved of their duties and the rate should be discounted until fixed. I recommend calling all 50 golf courses in the area for advice for maintaining the greens... because they can.
