Great crab legs and the best oysters in town

Great customer service. I am 100% sure i won’t be returning. Food is way too overcooked. I couldn’t enjoy my boil bag the food was to difficult to get out of its shells. Also they don’t have prices on the bags but it was 73 for one person for low quality food

I would not return here again. After arriving it took about 20 minutes for our server to acknowledge us and it was not busy. The prices were a lot higher than other crab boil restaurants near by but we figured we would try here, as we had not been. The server was very nice, but they do add an 18% gratuity just for dining in and expect a tip on top of that. After eating half of a crab claw I started to feel really ill. We had to immediately go next door and get medication as I had gotten food poisoning. I could not eat for 3 days after coming here. They do not devein the shrimp which is common practice, and the shrimp was very rubbery. Overall the food was horrible, both my boyfriend and I left with food poisoning, and it wasn't cooked well either. Overpriced, Overcooked, and overall not good quality.

The Big Crab is the premier seafood spot in Jacksonville. My wife and I patron often and we always experience excellent service with high-quality food.

Parking: Ample of parking even with the other restaurants who share this common parking lot.

Stop by passing through Jacksonville on the way back home. It was a Sunday so it had a sports bar atmosphere to it. Place was kinda dark though. Our waitress was great. Food was okay. Big fan of seafood dip but theirs wasn’t to appealing neither were the chicken tenders. The boiled shrimp was excellent though.

Food is nasty… We spent $103. That’s with the tip included because they automatically add it to your bill. You also can not exchange or get a refund. My server was great but the food was trash, the sauce they put on the seafood, had a nasty after taste. This was my first time trying it and it will be my last.
