Just had a major surgery. I’ve been dying for Bono’s Ribs and beans. Sent old man up to get me some and he came home and opened the box and OMG they were so small and dry. He got mad and took them back. They were not happy about him bringing them back I guess but he was gonna get me some more ribs but the way they done him he just got his money back and went to Jenkins downtown. I’d rather have Bono’s but I guess Jenkins will do. I’m feeling sad about not having my Bono’s

Upon entering, the restaurant's atmosphere was generally pleasant, though the smoky aroma was quite strong and noticeable, lingering on clothing after leaving. Regarding the food, the meat's flavor profile wasn't quite to my personal preference; I found it to have a somewhat unexpected taste, and the sauces provided at the table didn't seem to complement it in a way that improved the experience for me. On a very positive note, the service was excellent throughout the meal.

Nice experience. We had no wait time to be seated. Our waitress was fast getting our drink and food order. We ordered the 2 meat small platter with side salad. Food was fresh and hot. Very delightful. Our waitress was attentive. Checked on us several times. Price was reasonable for the portions we received. The restaurant was clean and smelled of roasting meat. Yumm! Definitely will be back.

Stopped by here to pick up take out dinner. Ordered salads with different types of BBQ - brisket, pulled pork, and turkey. Take out window is on front of business. Server was very cordial and packed up our order quickly while closing our my bill very efficiently.
Bono’s have always been my go to BBQ place to eat at! The food is amazing and the servers are the sweetest! Love this place!

Third time to go orders. Quality was sub-par. The order was wrong each time. Counter person was rude when you told her it was wrong and missing something. She ignored other customers at the window after they picked up their food and had issues. I used to work in the bbq business, and I know the difference between pulled pork and chopped pork. Told me that when they pull the pork, it gets accidentally chopped. Really, what???? Won't ever patronize this location or any others. I keep hearing the same stories from other people who went to other locations.
