My friend and I ate a late lunch today at Bono's, we both got the Hawg Sandwich Special, mine was turkey with fries and a corn on the cob. Also an order of fried okra and we both had iced tea,all the food was good, but the service was excellent. Our waitress, Vivian was so nice and polite, she told us all the specials and kept our tea glasses full and extra napkins on the table, she's a "keeper"!Parking: Two handicap parking spaces near the rear door, easy access to the rear entrance,

This place has really gone down hill. This will be my last time here. Turkey special with only two slices of turkey on the sandwich on one side. The skin was not cut off at all and super tough. The other Bono's blow this place away.

For me the bread(wanna be Texas toast) was too tough.. they've gotten away with some golden juice they slather on it that will surely clog every artery you own but it's not butter and there's no flavor.. the coleslaw also has no flavor.. the tea used to be really sweet now it's just sweetened.. it's not really cold because I believe it's fresh brewed but you know hot tea and cold ice just waters everything way down and it's still warm not cold and you're better off ordering meat on the side to hopefully get a larger portion.. it was kids meal size.. the nav and cheese still tastes the same but the green beans recipe has changed so it's not the same flavor as it used to be.. I know this because I used to get double green beans now I don't order at all anymore because it tastes funny . Just stick to the Mac and ?.. and they're usu very busy so order ahead or try to come early

I ordered the Brunswick stew and loaded fries with a hamburger... All I can say is no flavor.. Blend as hell.. the meat was not seasoned.. the stew all I can say I've had better out of a can.. Bono does not know bbq..
