As a Jax native, this is my go to BBQ place for many reasons! The brisket (especially the fattier cuts) is to die for, it melts in your mouth and paired with the sweet and tangy BBQ, you won't want to eat anywhere else!As for the service, I have never had bad service at any bonos location, but this particular one we had a very energetic lady take care of us and it made us feel very welcomed. Always a 10/10 for us, would recommend!Vegetarian options: While BBQ is known for its meat, there are plenty of vegetarian options such as salads and the side dishes!

Johnny is always very busy and on point with his expertise on the smoker and cutting the meats and always personable and happy to answer questions. Rachel does an excellent job running the drive through, register, and front counter areas and team. Great atmosphere, clean, and food very fresh. The perfect spot to go every week while charging my Tesla nextdoor at WaWa. I also drive from the intracoastal to this specific location because of the fantastic service! Highly recommend.

Is there SERIOUSLY a $3.00 add-on fee for ordering in the app? I was all ready to order until I saw $3 service fee added to my $22 order. That's almost 14%! Add in the 18% tip and that's $7.25 in tip+fee for onion rings, pulled pork sandwich with collard greens - totalling $31??? Too rich for my blood.

I'm so tired and just wanted yummy bonos for dinner before my night shift and they forgot my sauce. I'm crushed and hurt. Tearful even. Foods still good but I can't eat dry pulled pork

The meat falls off the bone and has immense flavor. Try the chicken and ribs. This is my favorite Bonos because John is the greatest pitmaster. It is different from the rest and I know my Bar-B-Q!

Terrible customer service in mandarin, they do not honor what's on their menu, then give you the wrong order, I have eaten at many bonos and san jose is the worst, I will now drive 5 miles out of my way to avoid this store.
