Brew and Barrel Tavern

Will not be coming back. Bartender was unwilling to accommodate turning back on the MLB playoff game that had been on previously. Turned it off for 1 hour of muted NFL pregame that could not be listened to. Food was also not that good. Shipwreck sandwich had a funny taste. Go to Miller’s Ale House down the street if you want a better sports bar.

I don’t know their name but I saw one of the bartenders spit in my drink. I never left an establishment so quickly.

Showed up with as a group to watch the Eagles game but the only TV with it on was in the bar area, no kids allowed. There were 2 TV with no one watching them by the booths but they wouldn't swap the games so we could watch the game we wanted to the TV we could see from the kid friendly area. Big bummer. Will not be back.

Food and service were great! My husband got the chop steak with green beans and I got the chicken without basil with green beans and seasonal veggies. Atmosphere was perfect for conversation. They do have pool tables and darts too. We will definitely be back!

Nice place and the tacos are great. Two pool tables some dart boards and other stuff to do make it the perfect sports bar. Would definitely go again.

We ordered dinner to bring home with us from Brew and Barrel last week. I got the Tavern Burger with sweet potato fries and my husband got a steak and cheese with regular fries.

I will lead with this: the sweet potato fries are easily the most delicious sweet potato fries I've ever had. Ever. Whatever magical cinnamon sugar goodness that is lightly dusted on them creates perfection. I will dream about eating these daily once I leave the Jax area. My husbands steak and cheese was also delicious, as were his french fries.

The one downfall: I ordered my burger medium. It was extremely overcooked and was seared beyond 'well done' on the outside. It was actually so charred that it was unenjoyable. I did my best to shave off the burnt crust, but even the inner burger was extremely dry. My assumption is that this isn't typical, as the rest of the food was VERY good. As someone who orders a burger as my 'go to' meal at most restaurants, I would hesitate to order it again here and would make a different selection.

All that said, I would return to Brew and Barrel. I wouldn't let my crispy burger deter you from enjoying their food. ORDER THE SWEET POTATO FRIES, THOUGH. Seriously; your taste buds will thank you.

We are here around 4pm. Found this place just by driving by. They appeared to have just opened. Very nice place inside. I had the tavern wings, they were amazing! My girlfriend had the dos Pollos it had chicken and mushrooms, also had the Caesars salad. The Wait staff was very good. Food was great! Would highly recommend!
