Broadway Deli & Grill

Just stopped in only because I love the corn and shrimp soup. However everything else I try as far as sides... no flavor! It's like whoever set up these recipes does not own any spices!! So bland!! Then you order a sandwich and pay $10 and don't even get fries? Wow. All I'm saying..... great sandwich but definitely not worth $10 and not have a side. Great staff though!!

Loooove me some Broadway’s every time I visit this place my food is always fresh, fast, and the people are always pleasant! It’s the perfect little deli I normally dine in because it’s a comfortably chill environment, but today I was on a time crunch had to eat on the go! But I appreciate the consistency from this place in all things from the food to the service to the upkeep of the diner!

First time there. Food was decent. Home fries were good and crunchy. The omelette was ok. My mother got the grits along with her meal and they had too much butter as did the toast. But overall it was decent. May try lunch next time.

Ckean and quiet place

Some of the best breakfast in town. Food is always good and comes out fast and the prices are very good. Never had a bad meal or experience ever at Broadway Deli. Been going for 10 plus years now. Wish I lived closer :-)

I came here a few weeks ago and received bad customer service. I called my order in over the phone and proceeded to come into the store and stand in line to pick up and pay for my order. While in line I had two men who were standing to close to me in line. So I moved up a little still in line. I never got out. I was directly behind the people in front of me facing the cash register. When I walked up the young woman behind the counter tried to make it seem like I cut in front of the two Caucasian men who were in line behind me. I told her that I was in line because they tried to act like I wasn’t. So instead of standing next to the deli case I moved to where the register was facing to get away from them. She then proceeds to tell me to move aside. Why ? She should have taken my payment first. Instead she catered to the men behind me. Second woman comes up and tells me that I need to wait in line. Hello, I was in line. Why would I cut in front of a line of people ?And don’t you think they would have said something ? I come to broadway on the regular. This was my 3rd time coming here within the same week. I am a regular customer and so is my sister. Instead of taking care of the next person in line which was me. It seems like you like to cater to certain people. So I guess my money is not green enough. Then one of the men reached out his hand towards me like he was going to touch my arm and I told him do not touch me. Which he replied I wasn’t it. And I responded by saying okay it looked like you were. I guess he was trying to intimidate me. The woman looked like she was bothered by what I said. I shouldn’t have to defend myself when I was made to feel uncomfortable which is why I moved up a little. They were almost on my back they were so close. I wasn’t going to write this review but I think customers should know that look like me. That you will not be treated fairly and have to wait even longer. Mind you I was on my lunch break which is why I called my order in. Just be mindful of where you spend your money. Have a great day ! Thanks for reading.

One of the hidden treasures of Jacksonville. My coworkers and I literally go here every week.

I don't have a single complaint to give. The food was excellent, service was nice and despite the consistently speedy workflow of the servers and the cooks I didn't feel rushed and they moved down the line.

I've never had a reuben before so I tried it here - I can't imagine it gets much better than this. My mom got a turkey club that I tried and I have to say the meat and veggies seem really fresh to me. Got both our sandwiches and fries in less than eight minutes- and the quality was NOT sacrificed.

The decor felt very old school and restrained which complimented the atmosphere and work flow of the staff. It's nothing fancy but it works to its advantage and I felt like I wasn't in Jacksonville, Florida but instead at a bustling New York City sandwich shop. I loved it.

I have to say I was impressed with this place and I highly recommend it!

Had a large to go order, requested an itemized receipt. It in the bag she says, no receipt and missing items. She did not bother to check the order nor did she even bother to verify it being correct. Asked about it, was told to drive back up there. I have no idea what I was being charged for. Piss poor
