Currently my favorite bar in Jacksonville because of three things: great live music, they host fiddle tune and gypsy jazz jam sessions, and great German beer.
We visited the bar and really enjoyed everything — great atmosphere and service. The German beer was excellent: fresh, authentic, and definitely worth trying!
The only disappointment was the “Wiener Schnitzel.” Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it — it didn’t taste like schnitzel at all. It was just a fried piece of meat in a thick batter, lacking the flavor and texture you’d expect from a proper schnitzel.
Other than that, it’s a great place and we’ll definitely come back — just not for the schnitzel 😊
Great German Food
The beer 🍺 in this place is amazing, I had a Warsteiner had an amazing flavor as Pilsener, also we tried the kostrizer, Ayinger (a double bock) and a ritterguts goes (slightly sour)

WE HAD AN EXCELLENT German meal at Buchners last night. Food was delicious, and very authentic. Ryan was a superb server....very attentive and friendly. The beer selection was truly OUTSTANDING.....GREAT selection of German beers on tap. HIGHLY recommend this Restaurant. We drove over an hour to get there, and it was well worth it! Guten apetit!

I loved the ambiance of the courtyard. The food was good also.
One of the best places in the city to hang out with in dear friends or bring people who are visiting Jacksonville. We have some of the best restaurants in the world and coolest places to hang out and this is no exception
