WE HAD AN EXCELLENT German meal at Buchners last night. Food was delicious, and very authentic. Ryan was a superb server....very attentive and friendly. The beer selection was truly OUTSTANDING.....GREAT selection of German beers on tap. HIGHLY recommend this Restaurant. We drove over an hour to get there, and it was well worth it! Guten apetit!

One of the best places in the city to hang out with in dear friends or bring people who are visiting Jacksonville. We have some of the best restaurants in the world and coolest places to hang out and this is no exception

From the moment you are led through the red door the experience is great. Bartenders are excellent, knowledgeable, and courteous. Back patio is a great addition. Wonderful authentic German fare and beers. Definitely worth a trip here.

For whatever reason we have never known about this place despite searching for German food in Jax numerous times when in town shopping …today was our lucky day. Food was good, beer was great- definitely will be back again!
I'm probably biased because I grew up on German food. I will not get the Rouladen again. The pretzel was good, my daughter liked the wurst platter. Will probably go back. Service was great.

We got there and there was nobody at the waiting area to let us inside and it took 10 mins to get service just for 2 beers

Went at 4, when they opened for an early dinner, only to find out that the kitchen doesn't open until 5. Next time I'll come at 5, so I can order food with my beer

Didn’t make it past the hostesses. Beyond turned off by their attitude, demeanor and lack of any kind of hospitality. Was trying to go for a friends 40th, all dressed up and excited - they ruined it. Won’t ever try again.
