Cantina Louie is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville!!! Great food and great atmosphere! The margaritas are too die for! Alejandro is such a great waiter and very sweet!

I really enjoyed this place! I got carryout from here first and went with the cantina quesadilla which were yummy. My second time enjoying it here was dine in on a Thursday. They have different daily specials, Thursdays are $6.99 jalapeño margaritas and they were good! The enchiladas supreme were tasty, you get a combination of 3 enchiladas filled with different things, rice, and beans. The mahi taco honestly was not good, the fish seemed over cooked and the flavor just wasn't there. I was really hoping to get some mexican street corn, however that is only available on Saturdays and Sundays so I will just have to come back to try that! Our server was very sweet and repeated the orders back to us to ensure she got it correct. The food came out quickly and hot. The patio had 6-7 tables as well as ample seating inside. I will be returning when I'm craving mexican food!

I couldnt get a properly made Piña Colada and was not asked what kind of beans with the rice (was not told black beans were an option which I would've preferred). I went straight to the bar area so not going to say much about the atmosphere.

Food is always good. I had the nachos this visit, but they also have a variety of tacos in soft flour shells that I like.Parking: There are many parking spaces around the building & only a couple times have I had any difficulty finding an available space. They are right beside another restaurant, so you could possibly park in spaces at the other restaurant if that was ever the case that there were no available spaces.
