I placed an order online from the captain Ds website. I bought a 10 piece family fish meal with fried okra and broccoli. The food arrived cold and soggy. I called the restaurant where the girl stated she didn't know what to do and that there was no manager there, and no one else who was there knew what to do. She kept me on the phone for almost 15 minutes while she tried to contact a manager, before eventually simply just hanging up on me even though I was patiently waiting for her to hear back from a manager. I even told her "it's ok take your time". No apology no solution. Very dissatisfied and won't be ordering captain Ds again. They used to be so good.... ðŸ˜

We always get take out so I can't speak to the inside but the food is as expected. We have been to several other locations in Jax where that was not our experience (Main St, University Blvd, Atlantic). Dunn Ave was always good but they closed and sometimes you're just in the mood for that Captain D's fish so we're glad we found this location. Pleasant folks in the window with prompt service.

This place is so disgusting. As soon as we walked in, the smell of a urinal hit me. It smells like someone mopped up the floor with toilet water, but that can’t be the case because the floors look like they’ve never seen a broom or a mop. The girl at the front was short and rude and made my mother and I feel like idiots. The blackened fish was like rubber. Literally the nastiest fast food place I’ve ever been inside of.

Third time in a month where I have ordered either the 4 piece catfish or 4 piece fish dinner and the filets have been very small and the sides have been cold. For almost $16 bucks a plate I definitely expect to have a bigger piece of fish. I frequent here because it’s close to my job but I at this point it’s not worth the money.
