Fast hot seafood at a great price. The folks at this location always have a smile and are quick to get the food out. We like to go on Friday afternoon. The sunset is quite nice. Thanks y'all!đ
So I come here for lunch and they charged me over $6 for this crappy amount of food. This looks like something for a child. On top of that I had to wait over 30 minutes just to freaking get it. Will never go here again!

Third time getting food from this location. Never been to any other location. 1st I went to the location to order. Food was delish so I ordered for lunch at work another time and got food poisoning. Not only did I get sick but another coworker who ordered the same as I did got sick and that was the big fish sammich meal. This was about 5 months ago. Never wrote a review as I was just too disgusted. Fast forward to yesterday, ordered delivery again giving it a second try because the fish sammiches are tasty. But this time I got catfish which was good. My same coworker who got sick before from the big fish meal ordered it again and after 2 bites noticed that the fish wasnt cooked thoroughly. And the fries were barely cooked. They were cold, soggy and some were even translucent smh!!! Bye bye money!!! He began getting nauseous but we were able to counter the possible poisoning with natural remedies as he had already began to get the bubble guts. Stop rushing to cook ppls food!!!! 1 day a review is going to be the least of your worries. I will not be patronizing this chain again. I know what goes on behind the scenes in these restaurants so shame on me!
I wouldnât feel safe eating here again. I went back because my order was wrong at the drive-thru. I was hungry, so I took a bite out of one of the fish, then handed the plate back. The lady in the back took the other fishâthe one I hadnât bittenâand put it on someone elseâs order.
Thatâs a clear health violation. I know Iâm not dirty, but it doesnât matter. I had already driven away with the food and came back, so it should never have been reused.
Other places would have either fixed the mistake or just added the missing item. I wasnât even asking for a new order. But to take food from my plate and serve it to someone else? Thatâs unacceptable. I wonât be eating here again.
And the food salty as hell!! Iâm disgusted and disappointed

The General Manager Sherika was beyond rude because they are using expired unsweetened tea and serving to customers. There was no label on the tea container with the date , time, and expired time as required per health and safety standards. Because I complained about the old tea I was served. Sherika threw all of my food away, untouched, and gave me a refund. Sherika then proceeded to lie and say I walked in with an attitude. Sherika was no where around when I came in. The employee was waiting on a couple and then a couple of sisters were next. I walked in and sat down waiting patiently and quietly. When the employee finally did speak she rudely yelled wait and took the sisters the first couple their food. The employee asked me for my order three times and each time she would play with papers around the register and not ring anything up. When the employee asked me for the third time what I wanted I spoke louder thinking maybe she has not heard me clearly. She then told me I owed $27.40 I asked why so much. Sherika then appeared and said I got her. Read my order to me and then told me my total was $23.40. I said that sounds better. So according to Sherika because I questioned the incorrect total given to me and I refused to drink the expired tea I walked in with an attitude. I do not support businesses with rude employees. I drove to the next Captain D's and enjoyed fresh tea and delicious food. This Captain D's under Sherika management I will definitely never be back. You do not have to drink expired beverages. It is actually a healthy and safety violation and I have reported it as such.

They make some good food. I wish their menu was more organized. Also, I wish to try their nice looking southern style white fish dinner with coleslaw, a baked potato, and tartar sauce.

Dined in on 08/02 for lunch. Disappointed there's not a Captain D's in Mandarin. Went here with my son because it's one of our family favorites. You would think University Blvd customer service would be mid, but they were extremely polite and on point with everything. Highly satisfied. Food was hot and tasty. Anyone submitting negative reviews should be ignored if they received food from drive-thru or food delivery service. Don't care if it's a fast food place or whatnot...it's a restaurant and food outside the home has the best quality by dining inside. If you eat it from a box from a pick-up then complain about it, that's your fault. Don't complain about Captain D's and think your negative review is legit.

Service was fine. Fish was in a heavy batter, not crispy, lobster rolls need to be avoided, fried shrimp add on for the price was passable.
