We've enjoyed Carmines a number of times. The food and staff are always amazing. The service is quick, the food is hot and the staff checks in throughout the meal which is great. Tonight we were able to participate in the Dining Out For Life event which makes us love Carmines even more. Thank you to the owners for opening your hearts for a great cause. See you guys again soon.Parking: The parking lot is not huge BUT there is always space around to park so don't let that stop you. The food and service is worth it!!

We read about this amazing Chicago style pizza in an article in the local news. Carmines was rated one of the best pizza places in the country for Chicago pizza. We were not disappointed and enjoyed the very much. The pizza is very heavy and one slice maybe two should fill you up, plenty of leftovers! I liked the plain cheese, but my husband got a meat lovers pizza and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be back to try more things on the menu.

My boyfriend and I visited Carmine's over the weekend for their Chicago deep dish. It was amazing! I had the Boca white pizza and he had the American Graffiti; we also split some onion rings. The place is small and has a dive-y feel - which is far from a bad thing, but just something that's nice to know before you get there. They were suuuper busy the evening we went both with dine-in customers and takeout, but our server kept drinks coming and we felt we were taken care of. Part of the feel of the place is the eclectic collection of indoor decor. Some of it needed to be dusted as it was hanging from the ceiling and that's a hard place to get to for routine cleaning. I'd love to go back! The pizza may be the best I have ever had. I guess I will definitely have to go back to put that to the test, haha. Thanks for a great dinner, Carmine's!

Earlier this week I read that a local Jacksonville restaurant was voted by Yelp to be the second best Chicago style pizza in the US. So, today we tried out Carmine's Pie House with some friends. We got a thin crust and a Chicago style to share. They were both good, but that deep dish Chicago style was the bomb! We don't know who the #1 Chicago style pizza is, but our guess is Gino's East in Chicago. So good!
Richard did an amazing job taking care of us tonight! We ordered the famous wings and Chicago pie! He was attentive as we were a group of 5 with lots of picky eaters! So happy we had him, and look forward to coming back for this delicious food and excellent service again!

Called the restaurant at 9:00 to ask if they are still serving. The manager told me that if we arrived prior to 9:45 that they would serve us. We arrived at 9:30 and she told us that they decided to close early and refused to serve us. We drove 30 minutes to get there and would have gone somewhere else if she had told us that they would not be able to serve us .They lost good customers because of their poor customer service. We will not be back. I do not recommend this establishment.

Very disappointed yesterday at Carmine's pizza. I called on Thursday to let them know that a party of 14 would be coming around 6. We arrived 30 minutes before our group to give them a heads up that we had a party of 14 coming at 6. I told the young man i spoke with you yesterday regarding the matter. He said ok,it'll be a few.. Which was fine,not everyone was there and it was crowded still inside. All our party showed up & I told them everyone is here now. We waited & waited & waited. Time went by and no one offered us a drink while waited. So I called Al's. They had seating for us,but a waitress came out and said things we're making progress and I'll be back yo take your drink orders. Ok ,so I told Al never mind. After over and hour and a 1/2 NOTHING. So I asked the waitress when she came back out to check on customers outside how's the progress going. She caught an attitude and said I can't make them go any faster it is what it is basically. So I asked what about drinks? She said just 1 glass of water? I said no 14... Once again we've been waiting for over an hour and 1/2 by now. What are we going to do with 1 glass? Pass it around with one another. My cousin overheard her say " i need 14 glasses of water in a snarky way. I gave my phone to a friend & told her to please call Al's again. She said they could fit us & I told everyone we're OUT. My friend was kind enough to let them know we were leaving and she said no one was getting us drinks or putting tables together. Mind you i saw some empty tables,but we weren't seated. Very disappointed again with Carmine's. Don't say your making progress & you'll take I our drink order if your really not. You should've said ma'am I'm sorry,but we can't accommodate your party & we would've left sooner.
